Hi, I had ordered some pies and a soft serve from this maccas tonight and decided to leave a review. I had asked the girl in front counter why it took 10 mins for some pies and a soft serve and she had said that it’s because they had to cook it, in which I responded that they could’ve let me know that were the case. If the restaurant manager sees this I’d like to apologise to that girl if she felt as though it was her fault, cause she did say sorry, but it’s not her fault as it’s clearly the on shift manager’s fault.
I understand maccas can be quite busy but during our 10 mins there we saw the manager at the mostly back and not really helping the young teens working the front of the floor. Not only was the dining room a mess, there was also an odour as soon as you’d walk in (toilets need to be checked) and crew members not wearing full uniform.
In reality there should never be a wait on pies in such a big store during a non-peak hour. I’ve had my fair share of being a department managers in a maccas branch I won’t name, but the manager should be good enough to understand level, especially with pies that can take up to 7-8mins to cook. I understand that you can’t just magically cook pies, but in that same line, as a manager I would’ve let the customer know there will be quite a bit of a wait.. as a customer, you have to know that some people can be in a rush as this is fast food. Like I said, I do understand for the most part that fast food service is full-on, hard to get on top of but I fully believe that this was preventable if the manager was a bit more efficient with their job. This manager was a male with long hair, I didn’t catch his name and the girl working the front looked like a teen with blonde braids, again if the restaurant manager sees this I do want to apologise to that young worker as it’s clearly not her...

I realise they were busy, but the 2 female staff that were chatting about their social lives, a metre from the counter where I was standing waiting to be served didn't seem busy at all. You could have a sundae, as long as you didn't mind eating it with a knife, as this store had no spoons. Our order was for 7 people, and when we received the order, we had 1 serviette/napkin to share between all of us. We were a drink short and I waited at the counter for over 5 minutes to get that drunk, by which time my meal was cold, my frozen drink was no longer frozen and I forgot to ask for extra serviettes, so back to the counter I went for another wait. They gave me 2 napkins and I asked for more, only to be told that they couldn't give me more as they had run out!!! I wouldn't waste my time or money there again. If I could leave a negative star rating I would. The staff acted and spoke like drones, boring and cold!!! What a joke. There is zero atmosphere, staff weren't even wearing uniforms. Only choice of frozen drink was diet coke or coke, and no straws-sorry! The food was ordinary to say the least, the bins were full (inside) and there was rubbish all over the floor and tables. I carry wet wipes, so I cleaned our table before sitting to eat. The big blue bin at the back of the store was overflowing as they clearly do not flatten the boxes before putting them in, their overflow of the bin was all over the carpark and we watched a staff member walk over the boxes to throw more boxes on top which rolled straight off onto the ground, staff member shrugged shoulders and walked back inside. Read moreToday which is 7/08/22 Sunday, the most ill-mannered person was taking orders from the drive-thru. It was a girl, wearing a blue top, and when I asked another employee what her name was, apparently it was Veronica - that's what I was told. Look up your roster to see who it was on that day. And I took made my order at around 1.30pm - 2.30pm.
So if it was Veronica - let me tell you a few things I learned about her in the short 5 minute encounter. I learned a lot in such little time.
First, I could already hear how she was taking orders, no please, no thank you to the person before me, and after me. The most placid and condescending voice someone could ever have. Then the same with me. When it was time to tell me to move to the next window, it was a very unpleasant, "ok move on". Wow such great customer relations there. Where did you guys find her? And why are you putting her in a position where she interacts with normal people.
Secondly, when it was time to pay, I reached out as far as I could to pay by card, but I couldn't reach, despite her having the EFTPOS on a long stick. She alleges her stick could only go so far, despite being attached to an extensible coiled cord, she was just too lazy to extend her arm. You're the one with the stick Veronica!!! Not me! All she said to me was "welllllll", as if to say "well I ain't gonna move unless you do pal", in the most condescending way you could think of.
So Veronica, or whoever it was working at that specified time, I hope you are happy with this review, and I might advise you to find another job which you enjoy, because you suck at this one. Because of you, I'm taking my business...
