The wifey and I had been contemplating visiting this pub for some time, so we finally decided to check it out. To be honest, it wasn't the best pub experience we've had. While the setup and fit-out were impressive, the food was a bit disappointing. The chicken wings were cooked nicely, but they were completely flavorless. The blue cheese sauce that came with them was great, but it seems like the wings themselves could have benefited from some seasoning. Unfortunately, they didn't taste very fresh either. Similarly, the chicken parmigiana lacked flavor and wasn't worth finishing. We were hesitant to order the calamari after being told it was frozen. We appreciate that times are tough, but it's still frustrating to see that fresh ingredients aren't a priority for some places. Overall, the food wasn't terrible, but it definitely didn't meet our expectations. I've had much better chicken wings at other pubs, and I was disappointed to find that the chicken parmigiana I had at another spot the next day was so much better solidifying how much the standard was just not there, the other pub was the Jetty Bar, just wow!. However, the waitresses and bartenders were friendly and provided good customer service, which made the experience enjoyable. I would rate this pub three stars.

The staff here were so amazing! I took my children upstairs to hey caddy and only booked lunch downstairs because I saw they had a healthy platter as an option for the kids menu - more places need to do this! The kids platter was huge and definitely worth the $12. The staff: omg if I had cash I would've tipped them for sure. Our waiter took our order before the kitchen even opened as we were a little early. They were so attentive and friendly. My three year old spilt a whole cup of orange juice and I was mortified, but the staff just gave me a cloth to clean and even brang her a new cup without me even asking. I asked about an allergen for the dessert case and they were so thorough in looking for an answer. Honestly 10/10 service. My only critic would be to have maybe colouring or something available for children. With hey caddy upstairs it would be nice to have a child friendly environment downstairs .

Avoid this place at all costs! We came in on a Tuesday night at 7 PM, and the entire restaurant was empty— which should have been our first red flag. Despite this, the staff were far from welcoming. We ordered two pizzas and a chicken schnitzel, which somehow took 40 minutes to arrive, even though there were no other customers. When our food finally came, instead of letting us eat in peace, the staff told us to move into the gaming area so they could close the dining section early. We ended up crammed around a tiny table that could barely fit the three of us. And the food? Absolutely awful. The pizza was burnt, and everything tasted rushed and poorly made—despite the ridiculous wait time. It was clear that quality and customer service are not priorities here. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere that actually values its customers. We will never be back.

What a disappointing experience for a night out with friends. While the food was delicious, the service and staff treatment were far from it. We waited over an hour for each round of our table service drinks to arrive. At the end of the night, after we had paid, a staff member, who appeared to be the manager, accused one of us of making inappropriate comments toward a young female staff member. This came as an absolute shock to us—first, because we have a young daughter at home, and second, because some of us were sober and could not recall any such comment or even remember speaking to or seeing the staff member near our table as she "cleared" it, though it was still full of dirty dishes when we left. It seems the young staff member may have overheard other conversations and assumed they were directed at her. However, we were simply talking amongst ourselves, and we have no idea where she got this idea from or any of this information being a topic of our conversations. In fact, we don’t recall her even being at our table. As the kind people we are, we were already on our way out when this happened, but we offered to leave willingly to avoid causing further discomfort for the staff member. However, the stares and treatment we received from all the staff as we left were completely unacceptable. I’ve never seen a grown adult male leave on the verge of tears for something he didn’t do or say and made to feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. We won’t be returning, and we sincerely hope this staff member receives the...

Unfortunately only two good meals out of six tonight. It was our third time coming to the mosaic, we have randomly come in mostly for birthday celebrations and tonight was the same. Firstly my chicken burger was raw, I thought the thick piece out the side looked a little suspicious, therefore tried to cut it open, and with great strength cut open raw chicken with a butter knife. Secondly all 3 beef schnitzels came out over cooked and extremely chewy. The staff handled appropriately, offering replacement meals, I declined as I lost my appetite seeing raw chicken. Everyone else declined for different reasons, my nana continued eating as she isn’t one to throw a fuss, my dad continued eating as he was hungry and didn’t want to wait for a replacement, my aunt an ex chef was disappointed and didn’t wait a replacement. The only two good meals were the tandoori chicken (sided with roasted veg) and the meat pizza converted to a calzone. Although staff handled it in an appropriate way and we did not pay for the chicken burger and the schnitzels changed to half price; There seemed to be a lack of empathy for the mistakes, especially with the raw chicken, acting like it wasn’t the first time this had occurred? Or maybe they were not having a great night? Later in the evening we had seen two more schnitzels returned to the kitchen from another table, unsure if they had similar problems to us or not. Unfortunately due to this experience I don’t believe we...

We had Sunday lunch at the Mosaic for the first time since opening. My husband ordered a chicken parmigiana and I order the schnitzel with mushroom sauce on the side! We requested the meal with vegetables but were told they only came with salad. When the meals did arrive my mushroom sauce sat on top of the schnitzel with 3 bits of mushroom. I did not get it on the side as requested, so consequently it quickly soaked into the breadcrumbs, making the top soggy. My chips were luke warm. The chicken parmigiana was fine. Whilst we were eating someone came around and asked how the meal was, I told him about the mushroom sauce and he said he would tell the chef. He should have told the waiter who took the order, who obviously did not give the instruction in the first place, to the chef. When we were ready to pay we had no idea what the procedure was so had to go back to the desk at the entrance where the girl directed us to the drinks bar! I think the organisation is poor, the staff hasn't been properly trained and found sitting on a bench with a pile of cushions around you unhygienic especially during this covid period. The table next to us was only an arms length away and we could hear everything those people were saying. Again too close during this pandemic. The decor is very nice but we would not be eating...
