The best Chinese restaurant in the south, Mings Court has a traditional Chinese restaurant vibe, decor and menu, it’s well priced and the serving sizes are generous. The food was good quality, you can taste the peanuts in the satay steak which is nice as often at other places you can’t. I highly recommend getting anything sizzling, for the theatrics of it. The staff were friendly and attentive, and there were so many options on the menu! We enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming again.

Takeaway experience consisted of Satay which tasted more of sugar than satay flavour. The not so “special fried rice” was dry and contained mere specks of pork and flecks of egg with scattered peas. While both meals didn’t taste bad, I had much higher expectations of a prominent Chinese restaurant in the area.

Used to eat their food once a week nearly 20 years ago... always amazing!

After moving nearby I was excited to order through them again! So I bought the special fried rice, honey chicken and Szechwan pork the other day; there was nothing special about the special fried rice at all. Extremely bland even with all the added bits to the rice... The honey chicken was pretty good hence the added star (otherwise it would've been 1 star review), due to the Szechwan pork also being just tiny bits of pork, surrounded by disgusting soggy batter, like it'd been heated up in a microwave. horrible texture and very little pork inside.

Not a patch on what they used to be, and I can't belive so many recent good reviews. I had the totally opposite experience. Over all, for the money paid it was just not worth it and a...

A true gem that never misses!

I’ve been coming to Ming’s Court for many, many years now, and it remains my absolute go-to Chinese restaurant. The owners are fantastic—always welcoming with a genuine warmth that makes you feel right at home. The service is friendly and consistent, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do.

The food? It’s an absolute home run every time. No fuss, no gimmicks, just honest, beautifully cooked Chinese food that never disappoints. Whether I’m grabbing takeaway or dining in with family and friends, the quality and flavour are always spot on.

Ming’s Court is the type of local institution I’m proud to stand behind. If you want delicious, reliable Chinese with that extra touch of heart and hospitality, this is your place. Couldn’t...

This was my first time visiting this Restaurant my wife is Coeliac and so she needs a special diet and for people to understand her special needs when it comes to food preparation, cooking and handling. The menu was Gluten Free friendly and non Gluten Free was clearly marked. We went and dined in for my Brother in laws Birthday. The staff were very friendly and patient. The food was awesome, tasty and plentiful. The poor lazy Susan was laden to the maximum and the staff then read back everything we ordered. I was happy to see that there was just enough so not much was wasted as we are mindful of food waste. I can't praise them highly enough for such a wonderful experience. Happy 62nd John. Thank You...
