Miyabi Sushi — Restaurant in Adelaide

I came here for the third time and the service just keeps getting worse. We ask for table water and did not get any until we ask for the second time, one of the waitress just lifted her hand infront of my face and said “give me a moment” and walked off, didn’t even look at me. The waitress behind her offered to bring some table water and apologise, which I said it’s okay, I know it’s busy.

Then this other table had a kid who threw something over the table and all the takeaway cutleries fell on the floor, the waitress who showed me her hand while I ask for table water, she said to her other colleague “I do not even want to look at the floor to clean it up” and left her other colleague to clean up the mess.

The fact that this waitress has been staying around the back counter and not coming out while customer requests for help and just ignores customers when customers asks for help really shows how much things have changed ever since they open.

Not coming...

So disappointed. We have been recurring customers for more than two years, visiting this place onces or twice per week but I have to say that the service and the food have lost totally quality! 60% of the tray was completely empty so we opted to order. What a surprise after 30 min waiting the food didn’t come and the waiter told us it was on its way! Totally a lie! We were at the bench waiting and no one was preparing our order. After 20 min more we just got three plates out of 6 and once again we asked again for our food! The answer: it will take longer if you want you can leave. Beside the quality of the three plates was terrible! It was much better before

The conclusion: only two people for the whole restaurant is not enough and one of them without experience. The service a big problem now! The didn’t care at all our situation. Sadly It was the last time we went to eat there.

Love this new place. The food is fresh and there the menu is refreshing. There is something for everyone here including ship sushi, nigiri, sashimi, hot udon noodles, Japanese desserts, etc.

This place is family friendly and I am sure children will enjoy their meal here. They can order their sushi on the tablet mounted on the table and the order is then delivered to the table on a shinkansen bullet train straight to the table from the open kitchen. Children also get the chance to send the train back by pressing the button at their table.

The staff here are also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. Do note that there are 2 Miyabi Japanese restaurants within the same area. This one is Miyabi Sushi Train next to Zambrero.

This place can get a little busy around noon on weekends. I would recommend arriving just before 11.30am to secure...
