It's such a shame that it was one of my few favorite restaurants in Adelaide. I won't go back anymore.

This day, I wanted to show my favourite restaurant dishes that I had to my family. Ordered entree scallop, banhxeo, Eggplant salad, crab noodle, lamb and Pipis.

First of all, 5pcs of scallop. The scallops, which were always served as whole, were chopped down without any flavour and tasted burnt and bitter.

Banh xeo, cannot tasted prawn and pork combination as on the menu. As if it had run out prawn when they made this. Tasted more just like a thick soy sauce marinated pork belly which is not taste like the same before and the pork was smelly.

However, the lamb was as good as usual. My favourite menu chili crab noodles the reason why I go this restaurant. Seriously didn't taste anything. It tasted slightly crab, also wasn't seasoned at all. I told FOH all these feedback. He saying couple of times, "I'll go talk about that to kitchen." and give us NOTHING action.

I don't really write reviews like this, but it because of the WORST experienced I had. 4 out of 5 us can't eat coriander. So I asked them exclude coriander from all the dishes when I order. BUT it did have coriander mixed inside the eggplant salad couldn't even pick one. I asked the lady who seems like food runner wearing red uniform when she served our food, She's like "Where, Where is it." I showed her it was literally everywhere and she just said "Aah" and left us. Moment later they asked "So do you want a new one?" .. what if we have a serious allergic of it? Will you still saying that? PiPis clam sea sand wasn't washed properly at all. With a crunchy every single bite, no one could eat it so sent back as it came.

At the end, I told all those feedback to the male staff once again, they're just gave me a discount of eggplant salad. Discount is not what I want, I just wanted an apologies and professional hospitality attitude. Am I expecting too much? We were so upset, didn't want to stay any longer. When we pay bill, they were silence. didn't even say sorry for the food or thanks for visiting whatever, just Nothing.

Had the worst unexpected experienced. This is not because of how food taste is bad. We went all the way to this restaurant with expectation. Just ruined our last Adelaide trip. Thanks for the worst horrible hospitality experienced...

My partner and I went to eat at Noi for Valentines Day, 2023.

I am normally not into spending a lot of money anywhere I go, but this time I decided to go for it, as you only live once, and went for their Valentines Day tasting special, costing $160 for 2 people, and also opted for their matched/paired wines, at $50 per person (we asked if we could just do this for one person, and they said that was ok, so we shared the wines between us).

This multi-course extravaganza was undoubtedly the highlight of our culinary experience of this and other day.

The paired wines were perfect.

The food was outstanding, perfectly balanced in their flavours and textures, and presented appealingly.

The serves were just right and left us both feeling just the right amount of 'full' by the end.

The serving staff on this evening were extremely helpful. At the end we each got a beautiful red rose.

The ambience is gorgeous, and we sat next to their Asian inspired atrium, complete with water features and a variety of older and younger plants, bursting with colourful yellow flowers, and complete with goldfish swimming in a pond.

For the casual diner, expect entree prices to start from around $18, and main prices to start from around $30, with an exceptionally presented Baramundi dish at $40.

They also have a tasting selection at $65pp, which is also the suggested/preferred option with 7 or more people in a party/group.

I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a slightly upmarket, more authentic, Asian dining experience, especially for that...

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant a few days ago. While the food was acceptable, I was quite disappointed with the service, especially given that we spent nearly $400 for a group of four.

After we were seated, no one came over to ask if we wanted still or sparkling water. We waited for nearly 10 minutes with no service. Eventually, I had to ask someone myself before we were served our first glass of water. Meanwhile, I noticed the couple at the next table were asked about their drinks immediately after sitting down. This inconsistency in service was noticeable and frustrating. After we finished our main dishes and were waiting for dessert, no one came to clear or wipe the table. It was visibly dirty, which made the experience feel unprofessional and took away from the overall atmosphere (see photo). I had ordered dessert — specifically the mango pudding — at the same time as the appetizers and mains. When it was finally time for dessert, I was told that it was sold out. This was very disappointing, as I had been looking forward to it. It also suggests a lack of proper planning or communication within the restaurant.

Overall, I expected better service, especially for a special occasion like a birthday. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations and I would be...

Had a super delicious experience at Noi Vietnamese the other night with some good friends. All dishes were generously sized and extremely tasty. I didn’t order the food, so unfortunately can’t name them, but the ribs, crispy skin pork and cocktails were excellent. Usually, places with good food and prices lack good service (to be honest, I’m ok with lousy service if the food is great). Not the case here. The service was the best I’ve had in Adelaide during our month long visit. We had a superb waiter, called Sam. He was incredibly polite and respectful. He wasn’t condescending or snooty. I’m an Asian, and he even referred to my wife and I as “uncle” and “aunty”, which reflects a deep cultural sensitivity and respect in my culture, even though he was obviously raised in Australia. He ensured we had everything we needed (and wanted). He was cheerful and attentive and nothing was too much trouble, even though we could see the restaurant was full. He made an amazing food experience even better. We will be recommending your restaurant to our Adelaide friends who are looking for great Vietnamese food that is served by excellent waiters. I wish you all the best for your business and trust it stays open for a long time. Thankyou for a wonderful evening.
