Noodle Box Salisbury — Restaurant in Adelaide

Im not normally one to write review's, infact im not sure if ive ever even written a review before but this calls for a review in hopes changes can be made. I have been visiting multiple noodle box locations regularly for the last 13 odd years with this one being the main one. Very recently my meal and size i normally buy for about $16 has risen in price to near $21 without a drink and my girlfriends meal is more like $26 without a drink because she adds vegetables. For us to buy both our meals and 2 drinks its over $50 now for noodles. I started only buying from other stores with the old pricing for awhile but now they have joined in on the new pricing. For this kind of price we might aswell have a pub meal instead. We just buy the ingredients from a supermarket now and cook it at home for far far cheaper. My only reason to go here anymore is in the hopes that things have changed or to talk to the staff that i know on a first name basis. Only because I have had many chefs cook the same meal I get, it is never the same. Never. Even all the other dishes. Never. Been going here since high school. 12+ years of loyalty from me. If the gentlemen goes and leave, I go.

Sure knows how to cook it just right, plenty of flavour, the perfect amount of sauce. It is everything to me. Chef just gets it. I know, I know, how can you go wrong when you choose what’s in it most of the time right? ( make your own box) Well exactly, sometimes they under cook, over cook, not enough sauce and not enough to fill that box up. It’s a huge difference. I promise. I never pick the food from the menu. I like to create my own. So this based on my opinion of course. But I have had friends who feel the same too when they go there and get the already meals.

I ordered a vegan noodle box from here confirmed that it was a vegan box twice before taking it home to find chucks of CHICKEN in it! Called to see what they could do and they refused to do anything about it unless I freeze their stuffed up order and I have to bring it back in within a week!?! Asked to speak to the manager and apparently he only speaks chinese so in other words "unless you can speak chinese your complaint doesn't matter enough to be heard". I can't believe that in Australia there would be business managers that can't speak English. Definitely all for people that can speak multiple languages but how can you become a manger if you can't deal with customers?
