I've always loved U' Furno since it was at Torrensville cos of it's bread...so authentic...Italian style!! Even the atmosphere is Italian style.
They have a wonderful staff...the sisters are amazing always with their Italian Buongiorno/Good Morning honey brightens your day!!
Love their choice of sweets, they have great offers with cake and coffee too, but I prefer toastie and coffee!! I'll be going back for bread and cosy atmosphere and if you haven't tried it yet....give it a go when you're in the area...it will be great!! ๐ฏโ๏ธ๐ฐ
I also never know which bread to choose as they all have amazing flavours. Made the Italian way and brings back memories...but San Giorgio is the best!
Another family favourite is their focaccia, soft, fluffy and thick enough to cut through the middle and add all flavours or eat it on it's own and enjoy!! ๐
They also have a variety of hot food and soup ready to go, panini and sweets....which are the best!!! ๐ฏ๐๐ป
I'll always be going back when in the area for their amazing bread and to relax with a strong coffee and recommend everyone to try it out...
ย ย ย Read moreA nice local cafe, with some specialty breads and tasty cakes. I loved the food here. There are not heaps of options, but what they do have, is really great. The coffee was good, but not amazing. The reason for the 3 star review is customer-service based, because while I was here, the lady serving told a mother and her friend with 2 very young kids, that they could not eat food from outside, in the cafe. I totally understand this rule, however the lady had ordered cakes and coffees for the 2 adults, so I thought this was a bit unfair. Also, her tone was very rude and condescending. I get that there are rules, but this was handled poorly. I won't be back again because of what I witnessed, and I don't think that group will either. So in a nutshell.. Food is wonderful, coffee is okay, customer service can...
ย ย ย Read moreThe service isn't the best here, it really is disappointing because it makes me not want to return so often and I know others who say the same and go elsewhere. The old lady there is the problem. She is always snappy and needs to learn some customer service skills. She never smiles either.
The bread is nice but not the best. There has been a few times where the bread absolutely was not baked the same day! I also would appreciate if she sanitised her hands after touching money. She never does and goes ahead and touches bread. Its very unprofessional! Please learn some customer service skills. You may have more customers wanting to return often. Smile abit too...
