Paradise Pizzeria Ristorante — Restaurant in Adelaide

Placed order at 6:45 on doordash to pick up, paradise did not confirm order. Called to check at 7 to be answered unprofessionally and told that they would then confirm the order. 7:30 still no confirmation so called paradise again and was told it would be 15 mins. Rocked up 20 mins later to be told to wait another ten mins, then another ten minutes then another ten minutes blaming the doordash system being off... all up waited an hour and 45 mins to receive an order that was wrong! You can understand delays due to being busy but be upfront about how long the order will be and then actually get the order right!

If you are going to blame the doordash system, we should have been told about the issue the first time we rang at 7pm not at 8:15 when we were still waiting. I understand that there can be issues with third party systems but the problem was how it was handled. Be upfront with what’s going on, tell your customers a realistic waiting time and offer them compensation initially not after we complain.

Upon reading many of the responses from the owner it seems very little responsibility is taken by the shop and there is always blame put upon the customer or a third party. I’m not complaining about the wait time, I know things go wrong... I’m simply dissatisfied with how the situation...

Hi guys, we understand you've changed owners and possibly recipes but certain things need to change back. My partner and I have eaten your food since 2015 and couldn't speak more highly of it.

Chicken wings tonight were dry and lacking sauce and only warm. Used to be juicy, a bit fatty (good) and drowning in the sauce. However they used to be cooked, fresh once through the oven, a squirt of sauce and back in quickly to heat up a bit more was much better.

Princess pasta was our favourite, now it is less pink (tomatoes?) and not creamy like before, lacking salt and pepper. Lack of sauce too. Chicken chunks were tough, as if cooked (not well) then frozen and brought out to use when needed.

Paula's choice, the lot, chicken special - generally too much cheese now. Whilst somehow being undercooked, it managed to be burnt on top. The excessive cheese has resulted in the base being not as crisp, a bit doughy. These may be a bit too salty.

Consistency and value used to be our favourite feature of this restaurant, we wouldn't have minded paying more... But unfortunately, we are not as happy as we used to be with our regular orders.

Please consider this suggestion, I feel like others may agree. All the best, look forward to seeing and tasting any changes...

This has been our local pizza place for over 15 years. Last night was the last time we will order from here. The young staff member that took my order over the phone was rude and abrupt, no politeness in his mannerisms or tone of voice. Left me waiting without apology on the phone. Quoted me an approximate delivery time, only for the pizza to arrive 30 minutes later than quoted.

Pizza was cold, margherita ordered was burnt, dry and inedible. Wasted 1/2 a family size pizza as a result. Really disappointing pizza. Quoted us one price over the phone, then realised they charged more on delivery. Delivery guy was lovely, but he put the pizza bag on the floor to remove the pizzas… not hygienic at all.

Trust the poor reviews you read here - it’s not the same pizza place is used to be. Toppings are sparse and quality is not there. It’s really disheartening to see such a negative change in the quality of food and...
