Pat-A-Cake — Restaurant in Adelaide

I'm a big chocolate donut enthusiast and critique so this post is based purely on their chocolate donut alone and in no way reflects on any other aspect of the bakery. So with all due respect, their chocolate donut sux. I didn't try the smaller option so can't speak to it but the larger one tasted over proved yet was firm like I would expect from a day old donut. They were very pleasing to the eye perfectly round and uniform. The icing was great in that it was set hard so as not to stick to the inside of the bag but soft on the inside. Softer than the donut itself. Price... Well I don't remembered for certain but I think it was north of $4. Over all it gets a thumbs down from me. I wouldn't recommend stopping especially to try it. Three stars because it was still a chocolate donut lol. Everything...

Just the usual meh vegetarian hot options - cheese and spinach roll. Ho hum. I asked for a cheese and salad sandwich. She asked what I wanted on it and I said cheese and salad! What items did I want because they are all priced individually. I said that was ridiculous. I stated you must have a basic salad cost and she says no, each item was priced individually. I clarified this. However, there were no prices on the individual items like tomato, carrot, lettuce, cucumber, cheese, onion etc etc so I had no idea what I might be up for to construct a decent tasty sandwich for a vegetarian. Utterly ridiculous and a rip-off no doubt. I have never seen or heard of this before....

Best birthday cake we have ever had . My wife and I with 5 kids we have celebrated a lot of birthdays and this cake was the best we ever had as their was nothing left of the cake as soon as it was cut

Cake was delicious without all the bells of and whistles and cost of others trying to make a sculpture monument and without the taste

The price also was like a pre covid tag really good price for the fantastic cake they made virtually the same day ordered (on a Tuesday) so do t expect the same for weekend pickup I...
