Rosie's Cafe offers a relaxed ambiance with spacious tables and a cute outdoor area. However, our experience was marred by a lengthy wait for coffee, despite only 2 other tables dining at the time. The almond croissant disappointed, it seemed aged and chewy. I also didn’t like the sprinkle of caster sugar on top. Scrambled eggs on toast were good. While the coffee had a pleasing taste, it arrived at a much lower temperature than coffee from other places. Despite these drawbacks, the pleasant atmosphere and the sight of another diner's enticing dish added to the overall appeal.

Leaning between a 3-4 but closer to a 3. Unfortunate but always room for redemption. Went for breakfast and had a 5-6 people waiting for food before us. Seem to be limited on staff which is a factor on our service unfortunately. Waited a little while on food. Coffee was really nice. Food was good too, my partner ordered a omelette which potentially could have had bread with it. My breakfast burger was not too bad too but was limited on sauce. Lady gave us free matcha biscuits for the wait. Nice layout- keen to try it again in the future

I returned to Rosey’s today as I did last week hoping on both occasions to see barista Kylin in attendance but on both occasions no one seemed to know when or if he will be back. This woukd be a serious loss because not only does he make a perfect or near perfect cappuccino but he doesn’t feel the need to play tasteless and overly loud music. The young lady who served me today was very pleasant but I’m sorry to say that the coffee she made (most of which I left) was barely drinkable. Consistency is everything! 🙄

Our recent visit was riddled with one problem after another. It made it clear there was a lack of attention to detail and care. To begin, the menu in the cafe did not align with what was advertised online, and several items we were looking forward to were simply not available. Adding to the frustration, we were overcharged for an item, and had to ask them to honor the price on the menu. The drinks were also a letdown; we were served a bottle of beer that was past its expiry date, and the iced chocolate we ordered was distinctly below average. The "big breakfast" was served completely cold, with baked beans straight from the can which wasn't even heated and bread that had not been grilled at all. Similarly, the vegan crepes were a major disappointment. They were missing key ingredients listed on the menu, no capsicum or cheese, and instead only contained rocket and avocado. The overall experience felt like a huge letdown. The numerous issues, it gave the impression that the business is not invested in providing a quality...

Such a great little cafe off of Unley Road. I wandered in for a takeaway order and the atmosphere is very cozy. Great local artwork hanging up and a comfortable area for seating. The door handle on the way out is a knife stuck into the wood. Nice touch. The service was very considerate as while I waited for my takeaway order, the lady at the counter brought me a bottle of water and a glass which is just lovely.

Now the food. The star of the show. It's fantastic. Had an eggs Benedict and a Brekky Toastie with hash browns. Both were great serving sizes and both were made immaculately. Jalapeno's on the toastie is a delicious idea and the hash browns might be the best I've ever had. Most hash browns are just fried potato, and while these are MADE the same way, there's something else going on with the flavour. They're just so good.

Will 100% be back...

I will start with the positives; the orange juice was fresh, and tasted good; service was also good;

Now for the negatives; The food was largely a let down; the avo was prepared to far ahead of time, and you could tell that it had been prepared at least 24 hours in advance; the bread had a similar texture to that of bread that is stale yet you toast it anyway; I am not sure how it was managed but somehow the tomatoes tasted so bad they were inedible; and eggs were average, and far too undercooked.

Has potential, but we won't be back anytime soon, it was not...
