San Antonio's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Adelaide

It has been over 20 years since i have had ribs this good!

Back in the 90's, if you wanted to find good ribs in Adelaide, you would just have to stroll down to any one of the 100's of pizza bars scattered throughout the City. But as the 90s were closing up shop to bring in the new millennium, it appeared that for humanity to enter the next decade, the ribs would have to go.

As the year 2000 came around, establishments changed hands, businesses closed and menus got adjusted. It appeared if you wanted a rack full of ribs, that you would have to be content with chewing on bbq flavored rubber, if your lucky..

Until.... against all advice (from my inner self), I ordered a platter of ribs from San Antonios. It was like 1999 appeared before me, and made up for the 20 years we've been apart. These are not 'imitation' ribs like every other Pizza shop in Adelaide sells. Its the real deal....

Update: I have been a fan of their chicken and I always order them during my birthmonth. This year, I tried to order the chicken through menulog.

When the food arrived, the quality of the chicken is so horrible we weren't able to eat the food and we had to get out and find other restaurants to get food.

The chicken tasted like it was weeks old and left outsife the freezer for a long time. It was rancid and slimy and the smell was very awful. I have low standards with food so as long as its an okay food, I won't complain about it, but the chicken was really really off I can't eat it.

Its just sad and I know its the Pandemic and Im not trying to bring the restaurant down, but please be mindful about the quality of the food you serve.

I ordered 2 pizzas on Thursday night. Placed order at 6:26pm, got notified delivery by 6:54pm. Great. Then got sent a notification delivery is 7:04pm. Thought that’s ok. We didn’t get delivery till 7:34pm. The driver didn’t have a hot box and the pizzas and garlic bread were cold. The smoked salmon pizza was salmon chunks, not smoked salmon!!! Big difference. I rang and complained. They said they would give me a free pizza as compensation. Then texted me and said the delivery platform will send me a credit. Have not received anything.
