UPDATED REVIEW The food was very good tonight with good portion sizes. The service was excellent, which made the evening very enjoyable. The effort they've made to listen to customer feedback and make improvements over the years has resulted in an excellent local place for family dining. What's even more amazing is that they've managed to do this at a difficult time for hospitality and still keep prices very reasonable. I'm very happy that they have succeeded in becoming a great local restaurant. ORIGINAL REVIEW 6 YEARS AGO Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review, despite wanting to like this place. First, both times I have been here I have been overcharged from what's listed on the menu. This should not happen at all. Second, the portion sizes of some items are incredibly small relative to the price - take for example the rice pudding for $8, or the 4 tiny spring rolls, also $8. Finally, their phone lines do not even work if you call from a landline, and they didn't seem to care when I let them know. If they can fix some of these issues I might give it another go but I'm done with this place until they make some serious improvements.

I ordered from Uber Eats without reading any reviews, and it turned out to be so good! The portions were huge, and the Pad Thai was incredibly authentic — the perfect balance of sweet and sour from tamarind and sugar cane, with crunchy peanuts on top. , 9/10. Most Pad Thai around here tastes off, either from a burnt wok flavor or instant Por-Kwan sauce, and honestly shouldn't even be called Pad Thai. The chicken fried rice, though, was just okay — I'd give it a 6/10. Not great, not terrible.

What a feast. All the food was delicious. We bought enough take-away for two people for two meals. But it was so tasty we couldn't stop and tomorrow's leftovers will make a much smaller meal. The highlights for me were the Beef Pad Thai and the Prawn Tom Yum - the best I've ever had. There were people in the restaurant and a steady stream of customers picking up take-away. And it's always good to see Thai people among the customers. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 6 for a 6pm booking on Saturday night. Basic restaurant offset from takeaway reception area, but had an open side door to another possible dining area filled with clutter. Served by a young female, who "may" have been too young to actually serve alcohol to patrons and appeared to be still learning customer service. There was also another slightlyolder male waitress working the dining area. It took over 35 minutes and an approach to the takeaway reception area before we had our order of meals and drinks taken. One drink order "apple" cider on two separate occasions was served "pear". Just after 7pm the entrees were served. As an observance foods to other table was bought out one or two places at a time. There was no table service or empty entree plates removed for almost an hour. Again it was an observation that the main meals were served to another table of 4 before their entree plates had been removed. Another approach to the reception area succeeded in getting the entree plates removed and a drink order taken. Re main meals: a mixed blessing, the Pad Thai lacked the sour balance and overly sweet a mostly just noodles, the chicken Pad Thai was similar, the two different beef mains lacked the beef ( approximately 1/2 cup of thinly sliced meat) but again were swamped with either vegetables and/or noodles. The other two meals appeared to be "ok". Total spend $220. Overall impression, disappointing considering the hype about the restaurant. Past reviews have commented about the lack of service and/or table service. Given that the restaurant offers both takeaway and dining it must get the balance right and not have dining staff working the takeaway area at the same time. Patrons shouldn't need to go to the reception area in order to get service either for an order to be taken, a drink or to be made or even to get their table cleared...

Tonight we spent $74 on a variety of dishes (4 entrees and 2 mains) so that we could try a range of meals and critique the menu fairly. Despite wanting to like this place, and to support a new small business in the area, we were left disappointed. Firstly, we were turned off by the price of the takeaway menu. The chicken wings and the fishcakes were dry and tasteless. The satay skewers were also dry, however the satay sauce was quite flavoursome. The highlight was the Tom Yum soup and steamed rice which was delicious. Great depth of flavour in the soup, tofu was nice and the rice was cooked really well. We also ordered the Chicken Mince 'Salad' which was the most disappointing meal of the night. The whole dish was vermicelli noodles and the minced chicken was clumpy and bland. With only a few vegetables, you could barely call this dish a salad. We also ordered the pork belly stirfry for $21 and the meat was once again dry, chewy, and tasteless. I will say that the dècor and new renovations looked very nice and the staff were very friendly. Very sorry that we had to leave a bad review, but we tried a range of dishes from the menu and felt that for the price, the food was disappointing. We hope that this feedback helps improve your new business and that our next experience will be...
