Brunch at @thirtyfivestirling: very trendy and hip spot that opened not too long ago. A bit on the noisy side because of all the concrete and other hard surfaces. Service was good, although the barista was a bit busy with a lot of orders in the queue. Food was overall very good! . Fried chicken burger (24$) - crispy fried chicken, American cheese, streaky bacon, slaw, brioche bun, tomato relish, sweet potato fries: this was an excellent fried chicken burger! The chicken was very crispy. The bacon was deliciously crispy too. The brioche was nice and soft. And I loved the sweet potato fries đ¤¤đ¤¤đ¤¤. . Zucchini and corn hush puppies (25$) - packed eggs, charred corn, green yoghurt, shaved zucchini, roasted baby tomatoes: this was quite a nice dish that's full of yummy ingredients! Nice and healthy one. . 78 degrees cured salmon bagel (22$) - scrambled eggs, Neufchatel cheese, tomato, baby spinach, herbs: I'm always quite specific when it comes to bagels, as I feel Montreal style bagels are the best đđ. Their bagel was pretty good - nice and chewy, and not so much like bread. The salmon and cream cheese was excellent too. . Crispy pork schnitzel (26$) - with apple slaw, creamy mash potatoes, picked veg, lemon: this was one of the specials. We thought it would be more creative than just a simple schnitzel, but it was still pretty tasty. I just feel they could've done more with...
Read moreA spacious restaurant that has vast options for both breakfast and lunch! We shared the cinnamon donut French toast, it was very sweet and fried well that it had a nice crunch. It paired well with the ice-cream and mascarpone. A tad too sweet, but for those who love a really sweet breakfast item, this one is for you. The servings were big for the price point. Halloumi dish was pleasant. The eggs on toast were a bit disappointing, the poached eggs were not as runny as I hoped and the chicken on the side was very dry. Since there was no type of sauce and the eggs werenât runny, it wasnât very nice. But they do serve a nice portion of butter for your toast. Service is lovely and the atmosphere is nice. It is sad that the dirt parking lot that used to be free is now a paid parking lot, which I donât think it should be the case considering itâs just a land of dirt and not a clearly demarcated...
Read moreExcellent brunch spot. I only remembered to take photos at the very end đ We had the smashed avo + egg which was delightful. Very generous sized bread, creamy avo, dukkah and feta - just so nice and bursting with flavour! The everything bagel was divine! Again, generous portion and great flavours. My kids had the eggs and bacon, again good sized portion and great value.
We had the cinnamon doughnut French toast to finish, which was mega indulgent but SO nice. Really nice flavours and the berries and pistachio were such a nice addition. We didnât have much of the gelato (it was a bit icy) but it was lovely to share - canât imagine one person eating this!
The service was top notch đđźđđź The servers were on top of it and our food arrived so promptly. The restaurant itself is really nicely finished and had a warm and chilled ambiance. We...
