We went for a day trip around the area and found this place for late lunch at Tin Shed Cafe. Family of 2adult and 2 kids. Kids friendly menu. See photos for food details. Beef brisket, with sour cream and jalapeno, chips. Chef special- chicken rissoles with bed of mash potatoes, gravy and small bowl of salad. Can put a bit more gravy next time. Meatlover large size pizza. Kids- grilled fish and chips, small bowl of salad. Friendly staff. Toilet is so clean. Enough car park spot for dine-in. If we ever come back. Will definitely visit and dine in again.

Nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty of room and the tables are not squashed in the restaurant like sardines and the restaurant is nice and clean and modern, it also has a really nice outdoor seating area as well. They have a few local craft beers made in mclaren vale as well which most restaurants dont stock, so nice to try something abit different. Menu was quite small and not the place to come to if you're after a healthy choice. Food was a little on the pricey side, like for a serve of salt and pepper squid was $26 and i have had better for cheaper

We had a lovely lunch here with generous portions, with Gluten-free options available. The Caesar salad with added salmon was really generous, albeit having had too much Salad dressing. The salt and pepper squid was really fresh. They handmade their GF pizza bases, which was great. Customer service was great and hospitable. They kept ensuring we had everything and offered takeaway containers, should we need them. Amazing coffee too. Lovely spacious and amazingly clean toilets. Highly recommended!

Great food with friendly staff and a decent price too. They catered well to my dietary needs with a gluten free pizza base. Good value for money. If you are driving through mclaren vale I would recommend stopping and having a look.

I ordered a gluten free vegetarian pizza for about $20. My friend had a pulled pork burger and fries (looked amazing). Another friend had a standard meat lovers pizza. All food was good. And nice and cool on a super hot day!

Looks like there was wheelchair access both at the front and side and clean toilets plus plenty of parking. Family friendly location and a menu to suit many including a basic kids menu. Staff are super friendly and nice.

Cozy place to visit. Indoor and outdoor tables. Inside has air conditioning that works well on a 40 degree day. Looks like they cater for large bookings. Under cover outdoor seating at the front. Serve cold and hot drinks. Didn't order any alcohol but looked like they stocked local vineyards drinks.

5 star rating. Awesome place to visit. Try it out one day! You...

Major improvements need to be made in regards to my chicken burger, soggy and tasted of nothing but vinegar, supposed to be Franks red hot sauce chicken was soaked in it no crunch just a soggy vinegar chicken burger with blue cheese sauce that I couldn't taste as the vinegar overtook all other flavours texas coleslaw couldn't taste it either, may as well have been a chicken vinegar burger. Chips were good, coffee, not bad. Service was good. I have eaten similar burgers throught Adelaide some were delicious, sadly not this time $25 I'd expect better. Perhaps if they topped the burger in hot sauce instead of soaking the breaded chicken tenderloins in it would leave the chicken crunchy and not override the bluecheese sauce. Probably won't be back. Plate has sat with uneaten burger for 30min now they just keep on walking by....

This is a really nice cafe. Great food, nice people. Thematically it is'almost there' bit not quite for me... maybe I'm being a little too picky on that one. It only needed slightly better serve sizes for their Mushroom burger and better overall theme to the cafe and ambience and it would have got '5 stars' from me. Having said that, I'd still definitely recommend it to anyone who wanted better cafe style food at reasonable prices in the McLaren Vale region. The Chicken Quesadillas are tasty also, as was their chocolate brownie. The Milkshake head a nice scoop of vanilla icecream in it but the choc-mint syrup didn't do it for me - maybe real chocolate and mint would have been better for my slightly more refined...
