5 years on... Unfortunately this place is still a poj. Check your orders 100% every time you go thru the drive thru, they have an accuracy rate of about 10% ie if you order a breakfast deal for 4 people, they will forget a hash brown or a muffin... Or put the wrong ones in etc... 90% of the time... If you see this check* I've never had a win from these guys always losses.
I mean I guess you can't expect anything from the 13-15yo kids working there... The shop is always busy even when there is no one there...
Slow service, poor food handling ( i watched my burger come down the food conveyer belt explode in the landing ramp, and be put back together, slapped into a bag then handed to me...) and late at night food is not regularly cleaned up from tables... Or from the kitchen area... For a new macers it looks like it's been there for 10 years!!!
I've been here a few times and despite others saying it's great, i would disagree, It's better than the previous McDonald down the road, but overall it's average at best! I am suspect of food cleanliness...
Of course the shop is as good as the staff working there ... Also there seems to be a disconnect with kitchen / management and front of counter staff...
1/3/20 - update, got a walk in order although I know how bad this store is but I was asked to go, entry was obstructed by rubbish... See photos The kids hanging out in the shop started to clean it! 3 staff (14-16yo) were working complaining about how busy they were and were not able to cope... Wow.... Busy shop aside, the staff gave me the wrong order, in which i brought it back, no sorry, they just handed me the two 15 minute old cold burgers.... And took the two wrong burgers they gave me and put them into the burger rack....
No surprise...
I really advise anyone reading this to go...
Read moreCant really say much about the food for its price or taste since we were refused service for accidentally going over the drive through curb lol. Context: My partner was in driver and I had asked for a Frozen raspberry (they couldnt do it) so then I asked for a strawberry shake (also couldnt do it) so I didnt ask for anything else cause I was only thirsty for them. Also you can see the server from the order spot cause they face eachother and he was going between his phone and the actual screen so there was a bit of back and forth with repeating the order but couldve been something else like stock checking???
So as we were driving away me and my partner, in stupid accents because we think its funny “well ah guess i won have anything then :(((“ “dah bastahd” and then my partner drove over the curb cause theyre blind apparently.
When we got to the window the guy said he wasnt going to serve us for “yelling at the speaker and driving over the curb” (his exact words).
Conclusion: My partner did try to explain it wasnt directed at the server but we just ended up driving off confused mostly lol.
We wouldve gotten a large 10 nugget meal for around 15$ I think? It comes with the nuggets, large fries, large drink (the type of drink probably changes the price), so pretty good pricing for items by maccas standards honestly . . . . . /who would actively do something to damage their own car because they wanted to … i dunno threaten? Offend?? Be rude to?? Someone....
Read moreNight staff need retraining. Especially in regards to available products/ingredients.
After a very eventful evening in the childrens hospital tonight, we arrived at the store at midnight with two ravenous kids on board. Both wanted quarter pounders with the regular onions instead of the large onions (as they’re kids and don’t like the chunkier onion slices).
The girl taking the order took two times to understand what I was asking for, told me I couldn’t have onion rings as they were for specialty burgers and then argued that all their onions were the same and that the cheeseburgers and quarter pounders had exactly the same onions with me. They do not and this is something staff should know.
She rudely argued back and forth with me, was very snide and then left to “confirm” she was right and then continued to argue that all their onions were the same. Eventually I gave up with her and told the woman who served us at the window I 100% did not want the large onion slivers as my kids would not eat them if it wasn’t the “regular onions”. The second person assured me I would be getting the onions I was after. I did not. I got exactly what I didn’t need. Two quarter pounders no one would eat and two exhausted, unhappy and...
