Addys on Marsh — Restaurant in Armidale

We got pasta delivered from there, one Gluten Free and one normal. It arrived and both the pastas looked very similar and not Gluten Free despite it being very clear on the label. I called them to check and it wasn't. They agreed to replace and then rudely hung up on me. (this mistake could have landed me in hospital) When the replacement arrived it was undercooked, watery and contained pork which wasn't on the menu. I ended up having to cook the pasta further myself at home. We then gave the left overs to a friend and 2 out of 3 of us got sick. Disappointed. Have lived in Armidale for 15 years and have always enjoyed going to Addy's. However, our meal a few nights ago was very different to what we had previously experienced. Sorry to say, but the pizza(supreme) was mainly deli shredded ham and cheese and did not smell entirely fresh. The garlic & herb bread tasted mainly of vinegary jar garlic, and the Ceasar salad was a bit limp and uninspiring; we left most of it. I don't understand these "amazing" reviews, this is far below average. The food is mediocre at best and "specials" such as the ravioli are of the type you'd buy frozen from Coles. The pizza seemed to be made on a frozen base, again, supermarket fare.

The only positive thing I can say is that the servings are large and even then you come away wishing they were half the size in exchange for actually being a quality meal.

The decor and vibe is non-existent.
