Hungry Jack's Burgers Ballina — Restaurant in Ballina

As a frequent regular of this place I can confirm that orders are correct around 50% of the time. The rest of the time they are horribly off. I've even been served a Whopper with the bun on the outside of the box in the bag at the drive thru. Today was my last visit as both brekky rolls in the order were wrong, with the bacon egg roll not even having bacon and both with wrong sauces. When I went back to requested a refund, even the refund amount was wrong - not even worth trying to fix that. It's a shame because with proper management this franchise and location could be amazing, but obviously someone doesn't want to put in the effort or just doesn't care. The Maccas next door is overflowing as people just turn away from the inconsistency of this Hungry's. Perhaps HG's main office should send in some quality inspectors? So long HG Ballina, off to...

No other customers when I entered and no cars doing Drive Through, in stark contrast to McDonald opposite side. My Order simple, well so I thought, Pancakes and cappuccino. The Pancakes were luke warm and butter couldn't even melt. I had to take return Pancakes and to my surprise, they were reheated, butter and syrup all returned now fully melted. However; they now had an added flavour, taste of cardboard. The coffee not much better and not pleasant to drink.

Staff lseem to lack any motivation or take initiative. The floors are dirty and sticky, the cleaning I observed was done in a very half hearted no real effort made. Given there were no customers, well only me, you would expect this venue to be spotless. I get staff are young And not paid well but geez...

Unfortunately, although I understand it is fast food and some things just cannot be helped, the lack of care in food preparation is inexcusable, I visited a few times and things such as customer service varies wildly from terrific to "I am clearly interrupting your day" the one constant is the poor food quality, everytime the burgers are well below hot, at times down right cold, and if you bring this up to themselves, they will microwave the burger you handed them and hand it back to you telling you the issue is resolved.
