Zarraffa's Coffee Ballina — Restaurant in Ballina

Absolutely incredible and wonderful food!

With much anticipation with the opening of Zarraffa's in Ballina, I was incredibly excited for when the doors finally swung open. I got the chance to visit the store.

This was the first liner that I was hoping to use in conjunction with the much awaited food and coffee but in an unfortunate circumstance, I am unable to. It was a let down. I ordered a pretty easy meal. An open club with added avocado & a caramelised fusion.

Simple to make, quickly done and straight to the point. Unfortunately the first thing that was forgotten, the avocado. Chicken was incredibly dry and the ciabatta was toasted to a point of no return.

I must add though, the flavour was quite nice considering.

The caramelised fusion was nice for what it was. The coffee added was not. It was burnt and well over done. If the caramel wasn't as sweet as what it was I would have been more concerned about the bitterness.

Let's hope with some training and improvements that the store will do better. Prime location for traffic and...

service was terrible, it was a hot day in the ballina sun (around 31 degrees) and i was going to be picked up soon, walked in to get out of the heat and they asked me if i was buying something and i said im not sure so they asked me to leave, dont even know what they sell i got kicked out of the store before i even got a chance to buy, so i went out and sat in the shaded area witch was covered and had shade so i sat down and then they asked me to re locate to the other side of the street as they didnt want me near their shop bad...

Hot food is great, we got the chicken open ciabatta and the orange & almond loaf, they made an excellent breakfast. They also catered to my request for some light solid food (got toast with butter and a bit of cheese) when my partner had a bout of stomach issues, so big thanks to them! Food can get a bit expensive compared to other places, but delicious nonetheless.

Staff are very friendly, cafe can get quite noisy at times but otherwise a very good place to hang out and/or work. The WiFi is...
