We took our friends to the Little Chef and were concerned because one person does not cope with spicy food....not to worry as our mild meals were all excellent and we have two more friends who will definitely return. The Mixed Tandoori and Mixed Veg Platters Entres were simply sensational. A lovely fish curry followed and please try their different rices...we had mushroom and spring onion which was a revelation. We travel locally and internationally and have only found a couple of other Indian Restaurants near the standard of the Little Chef. The food is sensational as is their ability to do mild, medium or hot dishes to taste. Really great service too from the young lady. Great value Geelong Indian!

Amazing from start to finish. From spicy tandoori mushrooms, beautiful chargrilled tandoori lamb cutlets that had so much flavour and melted in the mouth to our amazing mains of lamb Rogan Josh and chicken vindaloo. The raita and the peppermint looking dip were a nice addition to compliment all the spice and flavours. Also the saffron rice was good and so was the garlic naans. Highly recommend this place as the flavours were just popping in our mouths. Back again and as expected the food was outstanding. They better get some more Jim beam for next time as it ran out and I have a feeling we will be back each time we visit Geelong.

This place has some great reviews so I had to try it. Went in for dinner last night. Too many options to try. I settled for the Tandoori Platter. Smoke and sizzling platter was served with in 10 minutes with mint sauce. Mouthwatering lamb chops, spicy tandoori fish and prawns, perfectly marinated chicken and the kebab! The whole platter was delicious. Platter is good for 2 people. To finish off I ordered mango kulfi and it was the icing on the cake. Will come here again soon to try Goat Biryani and other specialities. Thank you for serving amazing food.

Will be looking for a new go-to Indian restaurant after my poor experience tonight.

I placed a takeaway order at 6:45 PM via DoorDash for a 7:25 PM pick up. When I arrived I waited around to be told that food was at least another 30 minutes away! When asked why the waitress said that they had accepted my order late, couldn't offer an explanation to how that happened and simply told me to wait.

I understand that mistakes happen and things can get missed; however the responsible thing that should've been done when accepting an order was to check the requested pick up time and notify the customer if there is a significant delay. Not tell them upon arrival - if I had the time to wait around hungry like that why would I bothered placing an order in advance? The fact that no discount or free items were offered (as other places generally do as an apology) made me feel that they did not take any ownership for their mistake.

Very disappointed - do better!

So I placed my order at 6:15 pm tonight your Menulog website displays that it would be 30 to 35 minutes delivery time so I ordered not realising how deceiving that this would be. Then little chef notified me saying that it would be delivered at 7:20 well I waited 20 minutes so now it was 740 I contact little chef again going where is my order it’s now late oh it’s just getting ready and it will be on its way well then it was 8 pm and I called and they said that it was in the car being delivered I can tell you now it doesn’t take another half an hour for it to get to my house and I’m still waiting on my order so from the time I have ordered I’ve been waiting for 2 1/2 hours and I still haven’t received it this is so disappointing do not recommending ordering any food unless you want to wait hours beyond hours...

I have been coming here for a long time now....I like to try other places from time to time, especially new restaurants, and I live in Geelong, but work all over Melbourne, I want to give them a chance, I love a curry.❤️ But I am sometimes disappointed, and l aways give up, and now, I don't bother. Little Chef is the nicest restaurant, with the best food. Chef Ayub knows his food.👍 I have eaten many of of his dishes, but too be honest, I usually go one of my many favorites.....too many to type! If you are looking for great food, great service, you SHOULD NOT go past this place..... BEST tandoori chicken tikka in Geelong, without a doubt. Trust me! But everything else is beautifully cooked and presented. Ayub is a master at what he does, and his staff are lovely. Get on...
