Cucina One12 — Restaurant in Victoria

Heard amazing things about this place and went with friends who said it's always great. Had a 6-6:30pm booking . We had a rude waiter sort of snobby and pushy . My partner and I were the last to arrive by 5/10 minutes to our table of 8 everyones drinks order Had been put in we were ignored for 15 minutes . come to ordering we got to order our drinks one of our party had a dietary issue and was only going to eat some of the " shared entrees " in the meal deal. Which we were then told one of us couldn't get the meal deal ( entree and main $30 ) because of it . When have you ever heard of an entrees not being shared . Gets worse . One of our table asked for an entree to come out with the mains as she was only going to eat that as she had a late. Lunch and wasn't feeling hungry . The entrees came out staggered .not together as a chef and waiter I know the headachef always sends everything together. In order unless specified. The lady waiter kept trying to clear our table of our bread /entree plates when we wernt even finished with them. Which turned me off ordering more garlic bread . Kinda pushy didnt feel welcome. Other waiters were doing an amazing job and really should be applauded. . Mains came out I was left waiting for my lamb fillet. 10 -15 minutes after everyone else's mains food arrived. .

theirs was hot even after mine arrived cold the fillet was cold the chips cold. Or Luke warm like it been under a heating lamp for 20 minutes if not longer. I think it was the manager or owner who brought it over eventually . Now that man was a legend running around to the kitchen and bar helping every station out . Mvp that guy . I had to go to work after this experience. Left a sour taste in my mouth and wont be returning. Was told the place was amazing and great food and service and was let down on...

Anyone with allergies should triple check the menu and probably call if they are ordering takeaway

Ordered take away and we received delicious food, prompt delivery and almost flawless customer service. The only disappointment was the condescending tone from what I can only assume was the male manager/owner (I'd been transferred 3 times on the phone, and ended up with him) I can't eat cheese on my pasta, and am always careful to make sure it contains none when I order. The website says nothing about cheese, the representative picture has no cheese on top and there is no option to remove cheese. The last time I ordered, there was no cheese on top, just a couple of sachets of parmesan in the bag. Perfect. This time, the parmesan was on top of the pasta. So I double checked the website to see if I'd made the mistake, and missed the "remove cheese" option, but there wasn't one. So I called the restaurant. The first few people I spoke to were super friendly, apologetic and helpful, the last guy however got super defensive, told me all pastas have cheese on them, I should have left a note (there is nowhere to leave a note) and that his menus all state they come with cheese (the website does not) I told him his website doesn't say it and he should probably update it to avoid the mistake in future. He told me he would send out another, which he did, and it was here very quickly. I just wish I hadn't been spoken down to like I've never been to a restaurant or ordered...

Great place to have a function. Awesome food and fantastic service. I had a birthday dinner for 48 people at Cucina One12 in early July 2019.

From the initial meeting in April until the time we left at the end of the function, I could not fault anything. The owners went out of their way to meet all my requests leading up to the night. Nothing was too much trouble, and if it was, I wasn't aware of it.

It was the little things that re-enforced that I'd made the right decision to go with this venue without even looking at any others. Little things that weren't any trouble to the team at Cucina One12 like having a few people with special food requirements, to allowing me to print my own function menus so they matched the invitations - although they were more than happy to do this for me, and helping carry the balloons inside on the day of the function. The owners guided me with the menu selection and made recommendations (great suggestions), and were happy to run with my choices.

On the night, we had plenty of food and great service. In messages from my family and friends in the days that followed - there was a consistent theme - that the food and wine was: fabulous, great, delicious, filling, amazing and very good.
