Alfie's Cabarita — Restaurant in Bogangar

Good space.

The food is only good depending who the chef is - the Brazilian one is amazing and the presentation of her plates are always superb.

I would have given this place 5 stars but then the attitudes of the staff began to change, the quality of customer service dropped so I stopped spending my money there.

I find the owners to be very unfriendly and greedy.

Or perhaps fake, which majority of the Cabarita community is.

For example, one time I asked for a simple cheese toastie. It was made with basic white bread that I think was bought from Woolworths, and I was charged $10.00. When their gourmet options were $8.00.

I don’t appreciate this kind of selfish tactics and behaviour when I invested so much money to eat and study at this cafe.

I would hear the staff complain about management as well, and how they’re taken for granted and under valued.

So as soon as I knew that the staff aren’t happy with the working conditions, then I knew this cafe don’t deserve my money.

The price point of the menu, doesn’t match the quality and presentation of the food on a consistent basis.

It’s like false advertising meets theft, with lazy Australian staff members with no work ethic or good customer service.

Alfie’s in Cabarita is one of those spots that just makes you feel good as soon as you walk in. The Girls here are excellent — everyone is so friendly and welcoming, it really feels like they love what they do. I usually go in on the weekends and the service is always quick (I usually have my coffee and food in under 10 minutes), which is perfect when you’re on the go. The coffee is consistently great, and the food is fresh, so delicious, and full of flavour.

It’s the kind of place you actually look forward to stopping by each day, whether it’s for a morning coffee or something to eat. Honestly, Cabarita is lucky to have Alfie’s — it’s become one of my favourite...

Had lunch there, ordered a steak sandwich, it was the BEST STEAK SANDWICH IN AUSTRALIA! The steak was beautiful and tender, the salad was fresh and chips were amazing! We enjoyed it so much we went there the next morning for breakfast, hubby had eggs on toast with bacon which he said was great and I had the smashed avo that was super yummy, was the prefect amount of feta to almond butter and avocado ratio! Friendly service, good coffee, great food! Definitely recommend dining there and we will becoming regular customers from now on especially with the new management, they seem to really know what they're doing with...
