Do yourself a favour and don’t go to this restaurant. The food was awful. Started with stale prawn crackers which were replaced with fresh ones after complaining. Then starters came out. Spring roles were ok but the sweet corn and crab soup was the consistency of clag glue and the crab was processed crab sticks. I ordered traditional Bbq pork but was served stir fried pork with bbq sauce. The other dishes were way too salty and bland. The fried rice was dry and tasteless and I suspect it had been reheated and was not freshly made. The food was very disappointing and over priced. Not a good experience.

Friday night visit. The restaurant was relatively empty so was shown to a table quickly. Then the phone started ringing for takeaway orders. We were forgotten. Then we started to receive service and the food certainly made up for the wait. Great food, excellent balance of meat and vegetables, the special rice was arguably the best I’ve eaten.

To many vegetables and not enough meat, also high priced. Person serving was nice, English language was poor. $2 extra for each meal dine in. Mixed feelings about the food, anything with batter avoid and the fried rice dull. Some of the food is very nice other than the stingy lack of meat.

If your thinking of eating here I’d think strongly against it I had a terrible experience here previously but thought anyone can have a bad day I was sooooo wrong I ordered a simple special fried rice easy right the person on the phone said yes no worries it will be one minute this is for a take away mind you I said I would like it to ready in 15 minutes knowing it would only take me around 8-10 minutes to get there I arrive within 8 minutes to find my Luke warm take away already sitting on the table I I picked it up an said that I would appreciate a freshly cooked meal please after many requests to that end I finally got it across to the chef that this was obviously pre made as it was dry an only Luke warm I waited not more than 3 minutes hardly long enough to cook a fresh special fried rice only to have a meal in a bag handed to me I said I would like to check it because I don’t believe it was a freshly cooked special fried rice I’m glad I did rice was not even hot and there was no prawn or pork or shallots just dry rice and I few bits of soggy capsicum I said you can keep it and I will never order a meal from this restaurant ever again I suggest if your ever in Boonah an want a Chinese meal I suggest you try pizza or the curry house I only gave this restaurant 1 āļø Because they wouldn’t let me give them none it should...

One of the worst Chinese restaurants I have ever been too. The service was none existent, ordered a drink and my husband had to go get it for me while he was chasing up our entrees, they were 20 mins later than everyone else at our table. My salt & pepper calamari was actually battered not lightly dusted like every other one I have had and it was very chewy, my husband's spring rolls were average at best. My garlic duck was a very bland dish, not a taste of garlic at all, yet I could see garlic like granules in there, more chunky cabbage and onion than anything else. My husband ordered the Thai chilli and basil stir fry, it looked like soup with some meat and veges floating in it also tasteless. Fried rice was average. Then to top it off when we were trying to pay the girl took about 15 mins to add up our 6 items and still forgot one. Never again. Best...

Moved to Boonah a few weeks ago, and decided to try out the local take away food. Saw a few lower star reviews here, but have to say, I seriously disagree, as wasn't the experience I found at all. The food was delicious, better than I've encountered most places elsewhere, and generous proportions too. Plus, at least 20% cheaper than what I'd buy on the Gold Coast. I mean, $14.80 for many large mains, and they are stuffed into the container, is very fair. Mongolian chicken and Singapore Noodles are my faves so far. No issues with take away service. They say 15 mins, on 2 occasions, and took basically 15 mins. Perfectly reasonable. So, Yes, would recommend, based on quality of the food, price and portion sizes. Is a new fave local take...
