Some friends and I popped by here on Easter Monday morning as it was in a really convenient location. The cashier who served us was lovely, and apologetic when we tried to order banana bread but it wasnât available. We also ordered two chai lattes and a coffee. It took a while to make, and while we were standing outside, the barista suddenly says loudly, âIâm sick of making chai lattes, theyâre all Iâve made this weekendâ and âtheyâre the worst drink to makeâ. She follows this with âI donât care who can hear meâ, then goes back to chatting to the cashier at a normal volume that we canât hear. I can understand that since it was a long weekend, they wouldâve had lots of tourists, but I would think if you were so against making chai lattes, you could just say itâs not available on the menu, which we wouldâve been fine with. The coffee is delicious, the people are down-to-earth, and they reuse the bags their beans come in to offer free used coffee grounds for gardeners. It's a pity I'm limited to only 5 stars!
