This is a big issue everyone should be aware of it, I am not sure that company policy or their staff’s mistake, every time they charge a wrong item in the bill that I had founded more than 6 times that issues like in the imperfect item in the green plastic bags and they charged it organic item, special item like royal gala apple in $1.99/kg but they charged $7.99/kg, banana special $2.5/kg but charged as organic banana $6.99/kg, imperfect potato $1.99/kg and they charged $4.99/kg as sweet potato, this is just an example that I remembered now. This is not fair and should be trained their staff in the right manner if this is a staff’s errors otherwise I have all the collections of bills and refunded bills after I complained to their staffs to make a complaint to the related authority as not a 1/2 times mistake that happens every weeks to me. Even not same weight of the same item.

Harris Farm Bowral really needs to get it together. I bought carrots today get home and they are mouldy—disgusting. And they were not on the odd bunch they were full price....and this isn’t the first time I’ve had to toss their “fresh” produce straight into the bin, last time it was figs. I have bought off dip and cheeses from there on numerous occasions now. I have returned once but mostly you dont realise until you are opening to eat. cheese can have a month expiry and be off. Im not sure whether this is a food handling problem but it concerns me when seeing sweating soft cheese in a fridge and noticing it is warmer than the other fridges i did alert staff to which they simply moved the cheeses from the warm fridge to the cooler one beside.... sorry but that is the best way to breed listeria. this is not proper food handling!

I’ve been a devotee of HF since they first came to Sydney and when they moved into Bowral I was there again. I’ve noticed over a long period of time … probably about 12mths the lack of stock on the shelves, right across the board. When you come into the store at the designated opening hours, the produce isn’t all out. I have to ask for things and wait til the staff member goes to get it. If you do this more than a few times (and it’s necessary to do it more than 3), you add can on another 1/2hr to shopping time. I find it infuriating and it happens whether or not you arrive when the doors open or if you’re there at 10am. My friends and acquaintances say the same thing. You need more staff and you need to be ready with everything out on the shelves at 7am OR don’t open til 9am when you do have it all out.

It's disappointing to read some of the poor reviews... Juxtaposed with the good reviews, there's obviously an inconsistency with service and produce quality, which management should address.

I agree, selling expired produce is unacceptable, although I have never experienced this in the Bowral shop. A policy to ensure that produce coming to the end of its shelf-life is put on quick sale is basic stock control 101. Management should take note!

However, I visited two Sundays ago (in the late afternoon) and was thrilled to find organic bargains and top quality produce with a long shelf-life.

The interior is clean, well laid out and congruent with that of a greengrocer (I'm not expecting the Ritz) and the huge variety is (as with all Harris Farm Market shops) excellent.

Yes, I agree, parking is tight and limited, but this was offset by the courtesy of the drivers and the pleasure of shopping here.

I found the staff exceptionally friendly; they greeted me with a smile and were courteous and helpful, albeit most were young.

I have been to this shop many times over the years and have not encountered the negative problems that previous reviewers have experienced. Instead, it's a consistently good experience.

My family and I...

I absolutely ADORE Harris Farm ...Bowral! ...& shop there each week...when I also enjoy chatting to the Staff...not least Vince, the FANTASTIC Manager! ...who is "The , HARDWORKING! Heart & Soul" of the store!..possessing the rare gift of managing his large staff, with humour...whilst maintaining excellent customer relations.

The Store itself is Absolutely FABULOUS!....especially since the recent extension's...offering EVERY POSSIBLE Fruit/Vegetable/Ingredient!...all arranged Artistically & Invitingly!...much to the detriment of ones Credit Card!

Those of us who live in the Highland's are fortunate indeed to have access to OUR Magnificent.. & even Magical!...Harris Farm! WHAT a WONDERFUL Concept!. Many Congratulation's., David Harris & Family, of whom I have only met Luke....( Under the name I am known to the Staff!..which is NOT my "Pseudonym"! )...I wonder IF they will guess...
