Amazing Thai — Restaurant in Brisbane City

The Satay Chicken Skewers were amazing. Although, I was half way through my green chicken curry, when I noticed it had a massive dead fly in it.

I contacted the store to inform them, and was met with a response what seemed like they didn't believe me/I was making this up. They offered to remake the curry, although I declined due to feeling unwell/put off. It took awhile of back and forth conversation over the phone until I was offered a refund. I had to go into the restaurant for this. I arrived at the counter and was met with a very grumpy lady who handed me a cash refund of $18, didn't apologise, made me feel so uncomfortable and didn't say goodbye as I left. I will never order from this restaurant again.

Personally i would think one decent human being would be both apologetic and sincere with their actions and would try their best to help the customer in this situation, especially when they were the ones in the wrong. But this certainly was not the case. I have never been treated so horribly by a restaurant, especially since there was very clearly a large fly in there and they wouldn't accept that...

I thought it was time for a brand new review. On arriving my sister was dubious as we were the first two after it opened. I was very confident her fears would be elieviated. She kept saying Delish. Delish. Delish. I had the prawn laksa and my sister enjoyed her chicken laksa. I thought i should brave a new dish. I usually go for the fabulous yellow curry in coconut milk and prawn. The decore is authentic thia wood carvings and a thin version of Buddah. It is by far the best restauraunt in this area but especially Thia. 15 out ot 10. I highly reccommend Amazing Thia. Would not bother ordering from them again. Placed a phone order for pickup, simple order of 1 green thai chicken curry, 1 sweet sour chicken, and 1 fried rice with chicken. Picked up, had order read back by staff, and went on our way home, only to find once we got back, they gave us some crappy satay chicken instead of fried rice. Was not even edible if we tried, not to mention the chicken in all 3 meals was rubbery and chewey. Not like we can open up three plastic containers that are all leaking already in a plastic bag to check them before leaving the store.. and they were not even busy. Pitiful service for not completing such a simple order, and pitiful meals by way of cant cook chicken to save their lives! How are they still...
