Ordered a Flava combo and this is what the Flava looked like - barely had any chicken. And i didn't even rearrange it like this, I laid it down after the top half flopped over and unravelled the wrap and this is what it looked like. I walked back to the counter and the cook came out to chat - he argued this is what the Flava is supposed to be and then eventually he tried to grease me with $6 from the till as a refund even though the combo was $18 (I hadn't taken a bite from the wrap, sipped about 1/3 of the drink and ate only a few chips). He walked away from me twice and at one point had the nerve to say extra chicken would be $4. The other staff member at one point agreed the wrap "shouldn't look like that". Can't believe he decided to argue for long enough to walk away from me twice when he just had to process the full refund and we would have shaken hands. I even stressed at one point that if this is what the Flava should look like then my issue is with the company not with him. Also why do staff argue so hard on behalf of the company - the company operators don't care how much stress you go through defending the company. I didn't get the name of the cook but he looked about middle-aged (30) and looked to be of indian or Sri Lankan background. Anyway I went down the road to HJs and had one of their chicken burgers. That was the first time I went to a Red Rooster in 2 years and will be the last time for...
Read moreI ordered a quarter chicken and chips and gravy and was charged over $13. They left me waiting in the drive-through for a few minutes while I was trying to work out why it was costing $13 when the quarter of chicken and chips is advertised on a board out front for $5.50. I queried the price to which the lady said to me that that’s a special price on the board and I need to notify them of that when ordering the quarter chicken and chips. I had mentioned shouldn’t you say that when I order why is it on me to pick which price I pay for a quarter chicken and chips And how can you have two different prices for the same product? The lady said there is nothing I can do that is what you ordered. I was in a rush, so I said I would call the manager. The manager was about as useful as pockets on a singlet. They replied with I will tell her to mention it to people next time. They wouldn’t refund me the extra charge or do anything to satisfy a customer on this and basically said it’s my fault for not mentioning the price prior to paying. I’m pretty sure this isn’t legal, but I will be following it up as to how they can try and charge people like this. Pretty poor customer service and...
