I was offended. Thai Yaso is disgusting. I rang them and it was of no help. The person on the phone was disgusting. I ordered through Uber and for some reason they showed 5 stars which I didn’t enter. Something is wrong with Uber communication. I grew up with parents who were at United Nations and Parliament House. My parents have had people like the British Royal Family at their guest house. I’ve been around the world many times to every continent and I’ve tried a lot of food. Thai Yaso is not world class. The duck had hardly any meat, was a small portion and was cooked wrongly. The meal was well over priced. The curry puffs were over cooked and tasteless. I got a reply after putting comments on Uber and all I got was “we appreciate you taking the time to provide us feedback. Many thanks! Thai Yaso.” They didn’t apologise or offer to rectify the situation. A free meal next time would be appropriate. Other hospitality venues do this. That’s what hospitality is about. They clearly don’t appreciate customers. The customer is giving them income. The customer makes them money. It’s a basic fact. They don’t understand the importance of repeat customers. They clearly don’t care about customers. All they care about is money. They are clearly disrespectful and the owner is obviously a disgrace. As Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay who has many Michelin Stars would say “disgusting!” “wake up” The people I grew up with would have had this place shut down. Power and Wealth can achieve anything and I’m not talking Justin Bieber wealth who’s worth 300 million. That’s chicken feed to some. You never know who you’re dealing with. If the owners or owner have a single thread of dignity, professionalism or integrity, they would answer this. The attitude towards me shows total disregard, ignorance and a lack of understanding of hospitality. Ignorance is bliss. If you’re ignorant about hospitality, get out of it. I spend good money in hospitality and I don’t like underhanded treaty. People like Gordon Ramsay need to be brought into this restaurant and change it. Including the bad attitude I got originally. If the owner or owners don’t respond it...
Read moreAbsolutely Amazing Thai Street Food Experience!
I recently dined at Thai Yaso in Enoggera with my wife, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The customer service was exceptional – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome.
As the name suggests, they specialize in authentic Thai street food, and they absolutely delivered on that promise! We asked for spicy dishes, and they served some of the best we’ve ever had. The flavors were bold, authentic, and perfectly balanced.
We started with the Ginger and Pepper Calamari, which was cooked to perfection – tender, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. For the main course, we tried the Thai Fried Rice, and it was absolutely incredible – every bite was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and had that authentic wok-fried aroma.
They even brought out a homemade spicy sauce that elevated every dish to another level.
Highly recommend this place to anyone craving genuine Thai flavors. It’s by far the best Thai food I’ve ever experienced! Can’t wait to come back and try...
Read moreFood are fantastic here, very authentic Thai. The staff are super friendly, and the service is very prompt too - didn’t wait more than 10 mins and all our dishes arrived. The price is also very affordable - around $15 range which is very reasonable in Brisbane. The restaurant is very clean with minimalistic styling to it which I like. I think this is now my favourite Thai restaurant in Brisbane.
I had the vegetarian Thai fried rice and enjoyed it immensely.
Just a warning, because it is very authentic Thai, the spicy level is not the same is here as everywhere else…. I made the mistake of assuming the chilli oil they let you freely add is the same as every other restaurant in Brisbane which I normally need to spoon in at least 10 tea spoons to get a mild spiciness kick to my dish…. Big mistake! It was so spicy my whole mouth hurts. But it was my mistake, does not take away the fact the food taste incredible here. So, if you add chilli oil - only try out in tiny increments only, and wait for 3 minutes. The chilli oil has a “long kick” sometimes well...
