Have always had great, well-priced seafood from here particularly when you’re after something specific like smaller/medium squid, red spot whiting (both frozen), blue swimmer crabs. However our last experience was not great. We bought huge prawns, SA Coffin Bay oysters and 7 Blue Swimmer crabs and some whiting fillets. Crabs were steamed/shallow boiled with salt in a big pot. Prawns done in a garlic butter. Oysters a la natural. Whiting fillets in a green curry. All seemed good but dad felt unwell and threw up about an hour after eating. I had a very sore tummy and hubby and I also had sore guts and the runs for a few days after. Disappointing as it’s always been good but perhaps a bad batch of one of those things. Some of the crabs were quite a bit soft flesh rather than firm and springy which indicates non-freshness. In any case I’d still go back but be careful on what I select and ask...

My husband's love of somked salmon sent me on a mission to search for a more affordable way to have this smokie fish on his breakfast menu more often than once a fortnight. My mission was a success and more. I have found the pot of gold at the end of the seafood rainbow. Their prices are great, 100g smoked salmon under $5, salmon for sashimi "a portion for 2" $15, DIY seafood basket for two under $12 and there are many, many more bargains for your picking. Today's live mud crabs was only $40ish a kg. Seafood always fresh, shop does not smell, always clean and welcoming. Staffs are happy to help and answer your questions. You will find fresh fish, lobsters, oysters under $20 for a dozen, and a must try is their Japanese squid salad (ready to eat) tray under $8. Prawns, many different size and variety, so fresh, great...

The customer service is terrible. I waited for 10 minutes at the display window in front of the prawns whilst holding my 3 year old. During this time they served everyone around me, including people that had just entered the store. The real deal breaker was when they asked who was next and looked at a guy who was standing behind me who then had to have me move out of the way so he could see the prawns. That’s when I decided to put everything back and leave because they were clearly not going to serve me. It’s obvious that the person who is standing at the glass is next not the person waiting behind. The store wasn’t even busy but they deliberately served everyone around me. I will not be returning and instead took my...

I went here on Xmas eve for our Xmas day seafood, the lines were long as expected but we were assured that this was a good place for seafood and it was coming in fresh constantly. we purchased 3 KGS of prawns and 3 dozen Coffin Bay Oysters. The prawns were good, nothing outstanding but edible unlike the oysters. The oysters were purchased at 3.30pm on Xmas eve. At 9.30am Xmas day we pulled the oysters out of the fridge and they were off, not impressed at paying nearly $70 for off oysters. I will be demanding a refund.

Best prawns I have ever eaten , miss labeled as kings when they are Endevour prawns but bought 2 kgs cooked and they were the most tastiest prawns I ever have eaten , and I was a trawler skipper in younger days , so that is saying something , I recommend you buy from here , they also have a great selection of other seafood , I can't wait to try them all yummy , 10/10 for yumminess
