The food taste was awful and not fresh. We ordered goat karahi and chicken handi. The taste of the dishes were terrible. Goat karahi was not even close to karahi. The meat was full of fat and was smelly too. Being a Pakistani, I wonder why the chef doesnât know the taste of goat karahi? It was more like goat curry and the chicken handi was bad as well. Very very disappointed with the food, will never recommend this BBQ tonight anyone. Itâs a waste of your hard earned money. We also called the chef but he even didnt know what he cooked and served, and he did not offer anything as alternative. I have worked in hospitality, and when ever customers would complain about the food or the taste of it, we always apologised and offered something else .We came all the way from Melbourne and were super excited to try their food, but depressingly, we had a very terrible experience. This food also made us 𤎠đ¤˘. I am traumatised by this abominable âmealâ it was a disaster. At least learn the recipe from YouTube. This was a scary experience. It ruined everyoneâs mood and after paying $80 we were all still starving. My husband became very crestfallen because he was robbed of a good dinning experience. Thank god my kids ate tacos instead of eating here or else we would have delt with even more disappointment. I was about to buy biryani but thankfully I didnât buy it. We came here because we know it was Pakistani restaurant but I am so disappointed. Please avoid this restaurant because they even donât know what they are cooking and what they are serving to customers and lastly they even donât care about your hungerđđđđ. I am currently still so sad and the food hurt my feelings. Save your tummy and money âźď¸âźď¸. I wish there was an option...
Read moreAvoid this place, save your time and money. Chefs are obviously lazy and would rather be vaping out the front with the waiters then cooking plain rice.
The following events happened on a Monday night at 6pm, there was only 1x other table of 2 people while we were there.
We tried to order the Mixed Grill and the waiter said no chicken kebabs. Not a problem we ordered the Lamb And Tikaa malai separately.
Tried to order the Briyani. The waiter said "No, it takes 1hr to cook". Strange thing to have on a menu if you need to cook it from scratch and takes over 1hr.
Tried to order Garlic Nann, "No Garlic Nann tonight" brushing garlic and butter on nann seems a strange thing to have out of stock.
So we ordered Chicken Handi, Goat Nihari, 1x rice and two cheese nanns.
10mins later, the lamb and Tikka came out first with wet brown lettuce covering it. The tikka was microwaved and not fresh. We asked if they could bring the nann out to have with the Grilled meat. 15mins had past, the nann bread comes out and the wait tells us the rice is going to take 25mins to cook, so did we want more nann bread instead? He explained that the rice is made to order. Which is odd that a restaurant does not have bulk rice ready to be served anyway. Regardless, it had been 25mins since we ordered and we were planning on feeding our toddler with some rice and curry. I asked why they hadn't started cooking the rice when he took the order and he wasn't sure why and asked again if we wanted nann instead.
To top everything off we had cockroaches running up over the table at the end of the meal, please see...
Read moreThe iftar bufet on 31/03/2024 was terrible. Not worth $38. It seemed like the restaurant had free salt so they decided to add double amount of salt to each item on the iftar menu. When I complained to the front desk, I was gaslighted by the comments that âwe have asked all the tables and no one has any complainsâ. Initially I thought that it might be only our table feeling this but then I enquired from atleast 4-5 other tables and received the same comments. I then mentioned it again to the reception while checking out which is when he acknowledged and said that actually all of the kitchen staff was fasting so couldnât taste the food beforehand. I pointed to atleast two of their staff who are non muslims who could have tasted the food. He replied that we usually do make them taste the food but when I enquired one of the staff if she tasted the food before serving she replied in negative. BBQ tonight has always been a hit and miss with their halwa puri breakfast, but their iftar has always been good (atleast till last year). This recent visit for the iftar buffet was our worst decision and I believe everyone who visited it yesterday regretted their decision. The terrible experience can not be justified in any way, specially for people who had been fasting for the whole day and visit a restaurant in hopes of getting some good food. Not recommended at all - at least for...
