My daughter for Motherâs Day asked if I wanted Thai for dinner. She ordered online from Thai Ginger North Lakes under their promotional offer of 20% off. We drove from BURPENGARY EAST to collect the order and when we went to collect the order my daughter politely asked where was the rest of the ingredients to one of your NEW dishes (Lamb Cutlets). The older lady was quite short with my daughter and said it doesnât come with anything else and quite disinterested in providing any further assistance to her query except that statement. We politely advised the older lady that the website advises it comes with pumpkin etc to which she said we donât have pumpkin. The older lady was then quite rude and her first insulting and dismissive remark to our enquire was â we are busyâ. I then advised her that being busy isnât a reason not to supply the meal. This older lady then advised me that we shouldnât be complaining as we are receiving 20% off. Again her tone, attitude and complete disregard for my daughter and her request was insulting and dismissive. It was at this point that her behaviour was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE to a customer and their enquiry. I pointed out that we took up a promotional offer and that it should not be a reason to not be supplied the complete order and to be spoken to in such a manner. I expressed my dissatisfaction for the service received and would appropriately make a complaint to the store/review. She was again rude and encouraged the complaint as if the complaint was of no consequence and her and Thai Ginger were above reproach. Her comments of âI donât care because our food is goodâ, she was smirking & arrogant in her dean our and speech towards us. We had to ask for the vegetables as per the menu and when we got home to enjoy this motherâs day meal we were sadly disappointed not only by our treatment, disrespect, but the meal was definitely not up to the standard that the old lady had built her attitude and poor customer service on.    Read moreOrdered a meal for six people on line from the website tonight at 5.30pm Paid over one hundred dollars by credit card Received a confirmation email with details of the order and payment After 90 minutes tried to call the restaurant to get an update on the delivery Phone answered twice and after being put on hold for ten minutes the first time and four minutes the second time, the phone was hung up! After two hours, drove to Restaurant only to find they did not know about the order, and at first refused a refund! After standing my ground I was finally given a credit card refund. The restaurant was indeed very busy, and there were several people waiting for orders, Being busy is no excuse for not answering phones, let alone hanging up on clients who do get through! No apology was offered!!!! No attempt was made to try to understand how their on line ordering system failed? Disappointing as the quality of the food enjoys a good reputation.    Read moreI just walked in to this restaurant to order some take away. I asked for a menu so I could sit in my car and choose some dinner. The young kid on the reception told me there was no flyer menu to take, so I asked if I could borrow the in-house menu. I was told very bluntly and rudely âNOâ. Then he had the audacity to tell me to go to my car and look at the menu online. I said to him, are you serious? You wonât let me borrow this menu here, so I can make an order? Again âNOâ was his flat and utterly rude response. The ONLY reason I give 2 stars is because then more people will read this review. (the mpost read reviews are 2, 3 or 4 stars for obvious reasons) This restaurant is an absolute DISGRACE to thee community of North Lakes with zero customer care.
