This place is hands down amazing. Been coming here for years, unfortunately moved to the Northside so it had been a long time since I’d eaten here. Popped in to grab some lunch instantly my partner and I were recognised by the owners which was a lovely surprise. Not only are they lovely and friendly but their food is delicious. Their burgers are extremely tasty, and one of the best in Brisbane. And I’ve yet to have a potato scallop that even comes close in quality to theirs. We will not be going back. We have been going to Central 7 for over 15 years but it has gone backwards since the new owners. We ordered a meal for 4 people tonight by phone. After picking it up and getting home only half the fish was packed. We immediately telephoned and they had forgotten to cook it and to come back for the rest. In the meantime the other part of the meal went cold. As it was the fish they did give us was cold. The only offer was a SMALL Greek salad which was rancid and went in the bin anyway. Got chips which had half a ton of salt on them, came up to the lady she offered to "shake it off", and started saying this is their normal amount and that I should've asked for less salt. I grabbed the chip and showed her how much salt was left on my fingers, she kept trying to argue. Mind you it was so salty it was impossible to eat it. The correct thing would be to offer to make fresh ones without arguing, but alas good service isn't their forete either. Walked away with no food and no refund. But this place...
