Called in for lunch and coffee on a Saturday but only food available was sweets _ some cakes and almond croissants. Too bad if you wanted something more substantial or savoury or sugar free. Chose raspberry muffin and banoffy tart with coffees. Muffin was a bit dry and ordinary _ couldn't be bothered eating it all. The banoffy tart was awful. Hi. We have a lot of great coffee shops around Mt Gravatt such as Black Lab , Black Pug , Andrews florist etc but we have gone out of our way to come to the Story of the coffee for over a year now. Sad to say that lately we have been served Woolworths UHT milk when ordering our coffee . We felt bad but had to take them back as they were far from the usual story. Superb coffee and very friendly staff. One little anecdote to illustrate: I ordered a double espresso and I wasn’t clear that I wanted to have it to sit. The young gentleman brought it out in a T/A cup: when i mentioned that it was to have here without diffidence he said he’d take it back and make a fresh new one. Within two minutes he brought a new one with the attitude of a grateful saint! :-) I’ll make this my regular...
