I rarely write reviews for restaurants, but my experience here compels me to share. Having lived in Australia for over 20 years as a Sri Lankan, we decided to give this restaurant a try based on their menu and a phone call confirming the availability of the dishes we were interested in. When we arrived, we placed our order and waited patiently for about 20 minutes. What was served, however, was deeply disappointing. The chicken rice and curry were served cold—neither the chicken nor the rice had been warmed properly. It was evident that no effort was made to ensure the food was even remotely fresh or reheated for customers. We weren't expecting a five-star dining experience from a local restaurant, but we did expect a basic standard of quality. Unfortunately, even that minimal expectation was not met. I genuinely wish them luck if they plan to expand their business across Australia. However, based on this experience, customers might be better off preparing their meals at home to save money and enjoy food that is both fresh and satisfying. Spending nearly 80$ markup for four servings of rice and three curries of this quality feels...

If you're after authentic Sri Lankan food in Brisbane, this spot is a hidden gem. It’s a small place, clean with friendly customer service. We ordered the fish patty, fish cutlet, koththu roti, chicken fried rice, Sri Lankan lamprais, prawns in hot garlic sauce, and hot butter cuttlefish.

The fish patty was tasty, though a little oily. The fish cutlet and koththu roti were packed with traditional Sri Lankan flavours, absolutely delicious. The chicken lamprais was flavourful but could include more chicken. The chicken fried rice was satisfying, and the prawns in hot garlic sauce were good but slightly heavy on the sauce. The hot butter cuttlefish had great flavour, though it could have been a bit crunchier.

Overall, a decent place for an authentic Sri Lankan...

I absolutely loved the food as it was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish was a delight, leaving me impressed with the quality and taste. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends and family, as it’s an experience worth sharing.

The customer service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of. It truly made the entire experience even more enjoyable.

On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food and service. Compared to other places, they’re more affordable, making it a fantastic value. This place has easily become one of...
