loyal customer? no more. disdainful treatment after booking a table. try not. the owner/chef cares little for customer loyalty obviously. no matter the flavour on the palette the bad taste of poor public relations will.linger forever. another restaurant on the strip was able to accommodate us. kafe meze doesn't deserve my custom.
in reply to the owners: lots of people work long hard hours in their own small businesses. including me. your website nominates your closing time at 21h00. we arrived 20h33 after walking 40mins. and we were summarily dismissed: with 'sorry the kitchen is closed'. even after consultation with the chef looking over at us standing outside. how about you take a step back and think how you would feel ?
and i might add: no easier to write this review than it was to send your waitress to turn away a loyal customer who happened to be a few minutes late for...
Read moreUnfortunately we did not have a great dining experience when we visited. If the experience could be defined only by the wonderful lady who greeted us and took great attention throughout, we’d have had a wonderful meal. As it happens, she’s the only reason we can give a couple of stars.

Having had many of these dishes, including in Greece itself, I feel fairly safe in saying it needs improving. The zucchini was pretty oily and we didn’t like it. The pita bread was quite nice and the potatoes were OK. For a simple table for two, it was also a bit strange that the stuff we ordered couldn’t come at the same time.
As a local I really want to get behind these types of family places so let’s hope we can see an...
Read moreAverage food not like being in Greece, we ordered a seafood meze and when you put hot seafood on cold salad it ruins the experience completely. Dont think we will venture back to this Greek cafe. The owner and chef really need to understand what Greek food is really all about. It's not about calling your Cafe greek and serving up something that only resembles Greek in name not in taste or presentation. Go to Greece for a holiday and you might just understand why I am making the comments I am making. My wife comes from Scotland and we lived there for many years after getting married. We ventured to Greece several times and this is why we struggle to return to the poor representation of the cuisine here...
