Chatterbox Cafe Sunnybank Hills — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Very upset by our experience. Staff were rude and far from accommodating. When we arrived we asked where we could sit (2 adults, 2 babies) and were told to sit ourselves. After walking around we managed to find ONE table suitable for us which allowed space for one of the babies to go in a high chair and that pram to be parked against a wall on the other side of the path. After an old man complained that my pram was parked too close to him (not restricting him in any way) the staff told us we had to move because we were blocking the path. When i questioned how my pram parked all the way over there was in the way they moved tables to where my pram was and then dumped my pram next to me and again insisted we move tables. If we haven’t already ordered I would’ve left. Instead, I tried to be helpful and let them move us to another table. Two staff members continued to be rude and then moved my pram (again, not in the way) to where we were originally sitting! From there the pettiness continued and we couldn’t even ask for water without sass. I don’t understand why we were made to feel SO uncomfortable and unwelcome after doing our best with the poor layout to begin with. Definitely will not be going again. Hopefully other Mums decide against dining here to avoid...

Asked for my coffee to be re-made very nicely, its your store that makes it so people are anxious speaking up when something tastes bad or not as it should, I already struggled even asking for the replacement as it tasted burnt, you shouldn't make me feel bad for asking (I'm the type of person too always drink 3-4 shot coffees) my partner works in his own cafè aswell. To question the customer and say that is how it's made when it was clearly burnt even dark brown in the cup is wrong and disgusting customer service. You work in hospitality and should honestly do better, not sit there and question the customer, I did not ask for multiple replacements just the 1 after spending over $42 on 2 bacon and egg sandwiches/hashbrown and 2 coffees there really shouldnt have been an issue. Ontop of that they microwave everything you can see them do it and hear it from the front seats of the store. I have drank coffee and been alive for years honestly to even question it is stupid, the only staff member I faced with good customer service is the extremely tall Caucasian gentleman with a 1 buzz cut was the only nice and...

Generally underwhelming. I had the big breakfast here but was disappointed. Tomato pale, underripe and flavourless. Hashbrowns were of the small triangular frozen prepackaged variety and only two were provided. I asked for crispy bacon but what I got was more hard, tough and leathery. Only two mushrooms in this 'big' breakfast although some attempt had been made to brown them, they were fairly watery and flavourless. I assume they had been at least partially precooked before my order was made. Toast was reasonable although it had been buttered before reaching the table. The freshly squeezed orange juice was sadly lacking in both tang and sweetness. The glasses were largely occupied with foam and ice with barely mire than a shotglass of actual juice present. The eggs were the highlight of the meal, being almost perfectly poached. This was let down by the fact that they, like the rest of the meal, were served barely luke warm.
