Snow Witch — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I've been drinking coffee for a very long time and I'm very passionate and particular, when it comes to the quality of the coffees final taste.

I take my hat off to all the perfectionist baristas out there, who hone their skills to an exact "science".

So much so that they consider ambient temperature, humidity, grind, compaction pressure, milk type etc, when making a cup of coffee.

Bought a coffee 17.5.23 and it was really good. Got another one 18.5.23 and it was burnt from either too much compaction or wrong grind, or something.

However I spoke to the staff who although initially pushed back, they made another cup and though it was better than the previous cup, it still didn't quite meet up to the day before. 4 star's for trying your best.

I really wanted to rate this cafe a little higher, as I pass it frequently when I’m in the shopping done.

However, even though they had enough staff, the general cleanliness of the seated area is lacking. Floors in the seating area are very slippery/sticky and the armchair type of seats are quite disgusting it has food items stuck in its grooves etc which makes it quite unappealing to sit in.

Tables are little wobbly, and it would be great if they could fix it up and put something underneath to stop the wobbling.

All in all I would give them another go in the future - if the cleanliness was improved. I think they’re in a good location, staff seem friendly enough, the food looks good, but the general cleanliness...

Well this one is tough to write, its in good location, had good reviews and was busy when we arrived. Order latte 1 sugar and oreo milkshake. Got a chocolate milkshake not oreo and one of the worst coffee ive ever tried. Even adding another 2 sugars couldnt rid the taste of burnt milk 🤢 snow witch brekkie ($17) & hollandaise burger plus small chips($5) emphasis on sml. The brekkie menu said avocado, tomato, salsa, poached eggs, sausages, bacon on sourdough. It came with Chipotle pork sausages, overcooked bacon, overcooked eggs and 2 tiny slices sourdough. Aside from bit oily the hollandaise burger was pretty good and staff were lovely ordering. Unfortunately not much else...
