Visited here for a quick early dinner before heading to the international airport on the 9th of April. The decor of the venue is unique and stylish. Great atmosphere for a feed or even just a drink. Staff were friendly, and all food and drinks were done from behind the bar. We were casually welcomed and sat at a table with our order taken fairly fast. As we ordered tapas style, each dish arrived separately, which was great given the table was small and we like to enjoy each dish. We tried various dishes, which all had intricate flavours within each dish. The Fish Croquettes were fantastic, with the correct amount of fish to potato ratio, enough to still taste the flavour of the fish. The Buffalo Cauliflower was unlike no other! With Cauliflower being a fairly flavourless vegetable, the added spices and condiments to balance this dish were perfect! The Haloumi Fries were nice, but perhaps a little bland in the selection of haloumi, as it lacked a bit of flavour and salt. The Causa Rellena, this dish was served cold. While some tastes were there, the mash base was lacking creaminess and salt, and we would have preferred a freshly cooked prawn on top of the cold dish to contrast. The presentation was 5 stars for all dishes, including our drinks and one spotted at another table. Unfortunately, due to a communication error between the waitress and Chef, we didn't receive our dessert in time and had to cancel due to getting to the airport, but I'm certain it would have tasted nice. Note: their website has a few glitches, which they may need to update, but lots of information if you're keen.

The food was fantastic, a nice variety of small plates, the Charcutarie was delicious with some nice options. The cocktails were excellent, some of the best I've had. I will absolutely be back and I'll be bringing friends. BUT the wine selection on the menu was a lot smaller than I'd expect from a wine bar, not a huge problem expectations differ. They didn't have the wine we selected nor the next we settled for, problem is we weren't told they didn't have the second option until it was poured and we questioned it. We were told it was the same brand so it would be fine. Again I'd expect better service and knowledge of the wines. Still overall it was a great night with a couple of little speed bumps that absolutely warrents full marks.

A boutique wine bar, where the cocktails are written after historical things that helped shaped Australian history. I find it intriguing to read, and they were refreshingly delicious to taste. The food menu was just as great, I rate the food as a 10/10 in their entre's. Presentation was immaculate. The service couldn't be faulted. The ambience was what you would expect at a beautiful boutique wine bar, with exorbitant prices. This is all reasonably priced. A venue "Worthy" of telling your friends and family to visit. Well Done Stavros and Team :)

Sorry to say I was disappointed on my visit. Booked for 530pm on a Saturday evening, it was a very wet / rainy day ! We ordered various tapas - beef dumplings ( underseasoned ), eggplant , and rosemary potatoes ( undercooked and over salted with no taste of rosemary), and Halloumi fries (this never came ) It took about 90mins , for the tapas to come out - one by one ... We never even got to the last tapas as it had been 90mins by then , and it clearly wasn't happening , so we called it quits and paid up. No apology at that time from the wait staff - something like. 'im sorry it took so long to get your food ... ' ' sorry it was slow tonight ... ' Just indifference and a meek apology , when I remarked ' .. we never got the Halloumi fries " Luckily they didn't charge us for them!

Disappointed because it's a nice venue ( inside and not outside when it's wet , and cold ) and the wines are good. There may have been only one chef preparing and cooking the meals that night ... It's the only place like it in the area ...

Id only go back for a drink and not food.

UPDATE reply to review : Thanks for your reply Stavros. It was 90mins before we decided to leave - we arrived at 530pm , first food ( the beef dumplings ) arrived at 6pm , then the other items trickled in after that. We asked twice about the fries - never came - and our train home was 705... And we waited until 655pm ...

I appreciate you were busy and under the pump - however, some communication from anyone about what was happening would have helped ameliorate any concerns. Communication...
