DISGUSTING STAFF SERVICE!!!!!!!! NOT CHILD FRIENDLY!!!!!!!

This morning I took my daughter to a Cafe local to my friends house and have never been so appalled by the level of unprofessionalism displayed by both staff members. After ordering, spending $35 on my order AND TIPPING, the two baristas behind the counter stood together starring and talking in a manner as if they were speaking about us whilst we were enjoying our food.

When we decided to leave due to the level of uncomfortably felt and further enhanced by the bigger staff member hiding behind the food case and ducking away when I looked back at her, my child occupying the high chair became VERY stuck and when I called out for assistance ONLY THEN was I ignored. My daughter is 1 and was stuck to the point where her legs are both bruised and slightly cut (I am currently sitting in the doctors waiting room). As any mother would do I had to break the chair in order to take my child out. Both myself and my child left in tears, her in pain and myself in disbelief of what we had just endured trying to enjoy a walk and a coffee this morning.

I have never felt so disrespected and dishonoured as a customer who will A. Always spend more at local cafes, especially since covid. B. Because I showed nothing but respect to the girl with pink hair as she laughed and looked away in a weird and obnoxious manner and the other one who I had tipped the cafe for in return for an easy interaction when ordering.

The display was gross and made me feel as if I was being judged and belittled with out my knowledge and the lack of assistance when a child is involved is putrid. The cafe was NOT BUSY so there was no reason as to why assistance could not have been provided. Besides that, food was great, coffee was burnt. We were there for 30 mins for 2 take away coffees. What more needs to be said. Extremely poor effort. Within the first 5 mins the family received their drinks (who knows how long they were there), the couple in front of us waited 10 mins for smoothies. When we went in to cancel our order after waiting 15 mins after the couple in front of us, the coffees were there waiting. Yet they brought the previous drinks out to reduce social distancing. It may have been Anzac day, but I better things to do than waste time waiting for second rate coffee and even worse service. Just feel the owner/s...

Thanks so much for the hospitality. From the sec we walked in, no one acknowledged us. We were standing there for a good minute and no one even said hi. And oh yes at least two staff members saw us. We then had to find a table ourselves and sat down and waited and still no one, not single one person approached us. How ridiculous! We were sitting there waiting like some fools for a couple of minutes and decided to leave. Thanks for acknowledging our existence whatsoever.
