I discovered this location from Koko's Channel on Youtube. I was glad to learn that there is now an eatery started by a Japanese chef with 20 year of French cuisine background and was part of the SONO team. My partner and I love Japanese food and learning from the interview about their background I was keen to try. We dropped on the very same day I watched the video. My family ordered a variety of dishes. Spicy Ramen, Chicken Karaage fried rice, Pork Kakuni (Braised pork belly) and Wagyu Yakiniku Don. Here is the dish review breakdown. Hit: Pork Kakuni was such a comfort to eat. The protein were soft, melt in your mouth and is 100% what I would eat after a hard and stressful day. The flavours were on point and that gave everyone the best impression. Should have ordered a full portion. Definitely will order again next visit. Average: The spicy ramen (Shoyu) had a sting when you eat it which is what I expected. The chilli paste was made in house by the head chef. The pork strip was tender and the chicken broth was mild. Chicken broth does not have the same intense flavour as pork broth, which I can understand. Chicken Broth is Tokyo style of ramen. I would order it again if I was there and after a hot bowl of noodle soup. Misses: 1) Chicken Karaage fried rice, the dish when we received it was cold. The fried rice lack the hot wok flavour and the rice was bland. The karaage were soft and mushy. The portion size was too small for the asking price. 2) Wagyu Yakiniku beef was too tough for thin strips of beef. It should be soft and melt in the mouth. The sunny side up egg was decent. The dish as a whole didn't gel well for us. For the price paid we expected a high quality dish. We asked for more rice but we were not sure if our request was done. All the staff were friendly and Owner Yuki chatted with us and shared the background of the dishes. She said the food is more fusion than authentic Japanese food. We gave our honest feedback to her that we would love to try traditional Japanese dishes and they could run 2 menu types like some ethnic restaurants. We would like to appreciate their hospitality during our visit as well. Happy to amend this review after they have work out their teething issues.

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was incredible — the team is so warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel right at home, and even my daughter couldn’t stop talking about how lovely the staff were!
The food was absolutely delicious and super affordable — honestly worth every single penny. You can really tell the care and quality that goes into every meal. The service was also impressively efficient, which made the whole dining experience even better, especially for a weeknight visit.
This has definitely become our new favourite spot to go during the week — great food, great prices, and an even greater team. Highly recommend Hiromeshi to anyone looking for...
Read moreEverything we ordered had me in complete admiration of the quality and flavours of the food. You could tell everything had been made fresh by hand. The staff are so lovely too. The gyoza had a soft textured pastry and the filling had great flavour. The salmon croquettes were creamy and so well balanced with the additional creamy onion sauce. The Karaage chicken burger was delicious with the slaw, sauces, milk bun, and Japanese-style crumbed chicken. Hidden gem but so worth it!...
