it was a beautiful saturday night - the possums were quiet, the internet was working for once, and my girlfriend knew (possibly for the first time ever) exactly what she wanted for dinner. what did she want? dominos - our favourite. i place an order, it arrives around 30 minutes later, however our drink hadn’t arrived. the driver goes back to the store and returns only 15 minutes later which was nice (genuinely) - however, they returned with the wrong drink. i didn’t have the heart to tell them (and i also couldn’t be bothered waiting out front for the third time for them) but that’s okay, these things happen, we all move on. we ordered a pepsi max and a pepsi arrived - sugary drinks are yuck. the greasy pizza is great, but we draw the line at sugary drinks.
anyway, a week later, it was another beautiful saturday night. the possums were quiet (although i later realised this was because one had died in our roof and that’s probably why they hadn’t been around - i mean i wouldn’t hangout somewhere if my cousin was rotting away there - the dead possum actually made my entire home smell but that’s okay, that’s a story for another review). my girlfriend and i decide to get dominos again. this time, again, the delivery driver forgets out drink. they returned sometime later - and yes, this delivery driver returned with the correct drink this time, however it still baffled me. how do these delivery drivers keep forgetting part of the order? it’s on the docket in their hand? isn’t taking a second to confirm the have the full order better than wasting time doing a second trip to a customer? for their own sake?
so, i love dominos, no complaints with food quality or speed of service - however, i’ve come to accept that ordering from this store means that by the time the drinks arrive we’d have already eaten the food (or the food will be cold).
my girlfriend and i have since started walking to another nearby pizza place for pickup. the pickup from this place is more expensive than delivery from dominos (which are quite affordable, so mad respect to dominos for that) however it’s worth leaving the house and paying more at another pizza place as we know we’ll be able to collect what we’ve paid for without any hassles.
so, farewell dominos greenslopes. i’ll always love you but this simply isn’t working out. always in my...
Read moreIf I could give this place a zero I would. I have never had such a rude and disrespectful "store manager" talk to me in the way the manager at this store did.
I placed an order for 3 pizzas and garlic scrolls delivered at 830pm on Saturday. I got the confirmation my order was taken and the funds were charged to my PayPal account. 830 arrived and I called to ask when the pizzas would arrive as I'm currently isolating and I wanted to make sure I would be awake. They said the pizzas were 20 minutes away. I said that's fine. So I waited.
9:30pm I called, still no pizzas, the person tells me they just walked out the door and will be under 10 mins.
Okay, so I wait more. 10:13pm almost 2 hours after I ordered, I call again, I ask to talk to the store manager, he says speaking. I tell him we haven't received pizzas and we've been told twice they are on the way. He tells me they are still at the shop and they rung my doorbell many times and nobody answered so if I want the pizzas I can come and get them. I said nobody has called at all, why would I ignore a doorbell, I'm literally at home isolating and I'm starving, why would I lie about this. He said well they called the door many times so if I want them I have to go to the shop. I said well don't worry about it please give me a refund, he said I wont give you a refund you can come to the shop or you can call head office if you want it. I'm fairly sure it's literally consumer policy to offer a refund if the product is not supplied.
I am literally flabbergasted at the absolute lack of customer service and rudeness of this manager, I will be following up with feedback and I will be not be ordering from dominos until they personally apologise for his disgraceful attitude. I could handle a pizza with average topping, but the arrogance and complete lack of respect for a genuine customer complaint really makes me question why this man is...
Read moreThis is the default store for deliveries to my place. Anyway, last night was the last straw after a string of terrible customer service experiences and horrible quality pizza. My partner and I literally ate 3 slices altogether of the 2 pizzas ordered and became sick. There was a strange, cleaning product taste. The dough was barely cooked. We also ordered one of those new sandwiches and that was doughy and inedible.
The delivery driver called when he got here and demanded I come out to the street where he was waiting. He named the street incorrectly and the apartment complex is easy to access with an intercom to each unit. He literally just could not be bothered to walk up and buzz my unit. When we did finally meet, he handed my order to me wordlessly.
I then contacted customer support to see what they could do. After 2 hours they asked me to explain the nature of my complaint in more detail, which I did. Another 3 hours passed and they said for a resolution I needed to contact the store. Great, I couldn't have been told that initially? So, the store was closed by this time so now I am waiting for them to open to discuss this with them. Apparently, there is a "100% money back guarantee". We shall see...
UPDATE: I spoke with the store manager. Have now been offered a refund. This will take some days to finalise. Have been put off pizza for a while after this...
