Coffee lovers, take note—this hidden gem serves up a brew that truly depends on who’s behind the counter, and when it’s the owner at the machine, you’re in for something special. I ordered a latte, and it was clear from the first sip that it had been made with care and precision—smooth, rich, and full of depth. The interior is quirky and packed with character, featuring an eclectic mix of knick-knacks and vintage-style decor. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it adds a unique charm that makes the space feel personal and warm. There’s also a quieter seating area tucked away at the back, perfect for relaxing with your drink and escaping the buzz of the front. This place isn’t just about ambiance—it’s about seriously good coffee. If you’re passionate about your brew, this is a spot you absolutely need to check out at least once. It’s the kind of café that feels like a local secret, where quality and heart go hand in hand.

I’m reluctant to do this review simply because this cafe is perfect and quaint and a part of me doesn’t want everyone to know about this secret haven. The food is made with soulful love and you can taste it. Prices are in the mid-higher price range but the quality is high and the service was excellent. I would say that the best time to enjoy this cafe would be in less peak-hour times since this cafe seems to be very popular with the locals. I arrived later in the morning and they had sold out of vegetarian dishes. The owner went out of her way to create an off-the menu treat that was tasty and took my food intolerances into account. I expect seats may not always be available in front or in their back area because it’s small but it’s now one of our new favourite cafes in Brisbane. We will be back!

My first, and certInly not my last visit to this new discovery upon returning from overseas. I love that it is dog friendly. We were made very welcome, and served quickly. We took advantage of sitting out the back on the terrace, where there was no road noise. My Chai Latte was excellent, and my chocolate brownie was the best I have had anywhere in the world. The muffins my family chose, were very well received..including being warmed. I shall certainly be back.

I came here just over a week ago for a second time to give it another go, the first time I visited I felt very unwelcome, no hello or customer service whatsoever. I felt like I had been doing the wrong thing just being there, I went up to order a coffee and as I went to sanitise my hands I was told I was in the wrong place to do so impolitely. Felt very strange. The second time I visited, same thing, I came with the two boys I nanny for who were very excited to visit and felt unwelcome again. I went up to order a coffee and some food for the kids and was greeted with a 'what are you having' which doesn't seem all bad but all things considered quite unpleasant. I have been hesitant to write a review, and because I felt so negative and strange after the visits I read through some prior reviews to see if anyone felt the same way. It seems that the owners may not take a liking to children? I am not sure... but I just feel it's unfair to project that sort of attitude on to other people. It is a cafe, and as expected everyone should be welcome. It seems people have had some positive experiences, and I wonder if I would if I came on my own but after those times I will not be trying this place again. It is...

Hidden Treasure is the only way to describe this venue. The care and attention Robbie and Michelle put into everything they do is reflected in the quality of their product. Robbie's coffee is second to none in the area which is evidenced in the effort he puts into personally making every cup of DiBella coffee served. The fantastic display of Michelle's freshly made foods in the cabinet every morning is always a temptation. Orders are taken at the counter but the attentive staff bring everything to your table whether you are sittting at the quiet and private enclosed verandah at the back or on one of the footpath tables. Dog parking and water bowls are convenient for thirsty pups after a run at the nearby Kedron Brook Dog Off Lead area. We have quickly became steadfast regulars and are reluctant to go anywhere else for our...
