Terrible. I had made a booking for 16 for Mother’s Day and asked to b seated outside. No problem. I then asked if i could bring our dog as we were outside. Again I was told no problem. I called again at the end of the week to confirm numbers (now 13) and again I asked about the dog outside and again was told no problem. We arrived at the venue to be told our seat had to be inside as there were 16 of us and that many were not allowed outside. I told the staff member that I had asked for a table outside and was told that was fine and now I’m being told no that 13 can’t sit outside. However there were 2 tables outside with more than 10 seated at each. Yes I counted. I asked about being told the dog was allowed and I was told by the manager that dogs aren’t allowed. I said I was told something different on the 2 occasions I had called and spoke to different staff. The manager came over and I explained that my husband and I had driven from the Sunshine Coast with dog. The manager offered a bottle of champagne which I declined. I was told either sit in the car with the dog or put the dog in the car with the windows down. Given it was a Mother’s Day lunch for my 87 year old mum and for myself, children and grandchildren we had no choice but for my husband I to take turns out in the car with the dog at 15 mins intervals as it is against the law to leave windows down in a parked car. And at 25 degree temps I wasn’t leaving our dog out in the car. If we had have been told the correct info we could have made arrangements for the dog or left him at home. It was an absolute waste of time and money for all of us. The food was average. I ate my soggy salad in the car, the 2 pieces of Halloumi...

Until tonight, I've been a regular customer since opening. Not one but 2 chicken meals from our table came out raw and one other meal undercooked, and the garlic bread so overcooked it was burnt. That we could handle. The entrees, buffalo wing, one bit and blood went everywhere. Staff very quick to address this issues and offered a refund or new meal.

Main meal (ordered at the same time as entree) also chicken came out very pink. When it was taken back the staff agreed the chicken was again raw. Unfortunately the manager decided he was having a very bad night, he was rude patronising and has now lost 6 regular customers due to his poor management and people skills.

While waiting for replacement meals we watched at least 3 other incorrect meals gwt returned.

Maybe just a bad night in the kitchen but the manager needs some serious training in people skills as he...

Celebrated my recent birthday there. Our Mum had been several times over the years and loved it, so was lovely to feel Mum with us. They have a huge selection or Gluten free food on there menu. My Sister is actually allergic to wheat so, was extremely important to read near the counter that the GF food menu components are actually deep fried in separate fryers and are no where near any food that can contaminate them. Huge variety of so many different types of food. We arrived for 6.00pm and lucky as there was a long line going up to order after about 6.15, just showed how popular the hotel really is. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely return for the variety and confidence of no contamination for GF food. My Chicken Satay was absolutely amazing, my niece...

I often have a meal at the Monier. The food is very good to excellent especially any of the Asian inspired dishes. Their sweet and sour pork is divine. The place is always spotless which I like and the fact you can see the kitchen from the dining room is a plus. They seem to have a lot of parties or large groups and I think it’s good value for money. What I don’t like is not having table service. I think establishments lose something when you have to stand up and order like it’s a Coles cafeteria. It’s also harder if there is more than 2 people at the table. I’m also not a fan of their steaks and I’ve had a few. They obviously don’t get a lot so it would explain their inconsistency in cooking them.

We had dinner here on Wednesday night. They messed up our order but it was still delicious, once we got the right meal. We often eat here. The noise is sometimes so loud you cannot hear your own conversations. They need to do something about the acoustics. It has slipped a bit recently with service and bookings. A few times we have booked online to arrive to no table for us. We do love the pad thai, it's delicious. Heaps of parking. Good cold beer. Good coffee. We will still be eating here in the future šŸ™‚

What a lovely location. Great parking available. Easily seated. We sat inside but there is also outside seating available. Lovely decor and staff were very welcoming. Had the Lemon Myrtle Barramundi and Chicken Curry both really good. Prices very reasonable. Great variety of beverages available. Highly recommend. Back again and equally good. Tried the steak this time and it was cooked perfectly. Was extremely busy but still served quickly. Great place to meet up with friends.
