Used to go here all the time the food was fresh and yummy,, the service great. Think they must have changed hands as my boyfriend and I went their not long ago and it was dreadful. Sat us outside on a table, brought a cold water bottle out with menus. Finally went inside and got 2 glasses and requested after sitting there for over an hour that our order be taken. Great entrees arrived with no cutlery or serviettes. We waited and waited than we ate them with our hands, by this time my partner was getting very agitated slowly one mains arrived than the other, I got up again and went inside and got knifes and forks. Than the fried rice arrived,, seriously it was a blob of over cooked rive with some large vegetables thrown in. Will never go back there again its trash and I will never recommend this...

Absolutely love this place. Lahn Thai Sherwood is easily one of my favourite local spots. I’ve been coming here for a while now, and the food is always amazing. You can really tell everything is made fresh and with care.

Some of my standout dishes are the numtok, the chili basil chicken and the beef massaman. But you can't really go wrong with any of them.

What makes it even better is the service. The young man who served us was super friendly and attentive, and the owner came out to greet us as well. She’s lovely and works so hard, cooking everything herself. You can feel the pride and heart that goes into the food and the whole experience.

It’s a shame that hidden gems like this don’t always get the recognition they deserve, because honestly, this might be one of the best restaurants in all of Brisbane and I mean that from the heart.

The food is bursting with flavor and spices that are hard to put into words. I went for the Thai hot level of spice and wow… it was seriously spicy, but still so tasty that I didn’t mind one bit. Every dish was cooked with care and packed with depth of flavor.

On top of that, the owner is such a kind and welcoming woman, which makes the whole experience even more special.
