Turkish people & those seeking Authentic Turkish food - please read below. (Türk versiyonu aşağıda 👇) Only writing this cause they call themselves "Turkish Restaurant". If you're genuinely after some Turkish food, save your time and $ and go to a restaurant that actually has more respect for Turkish food. Don't make the same mistake I did. (If you're the owner reading this - I think you'd want to spend some more time researching Turkish Cuisine. Specifically what Iskender is, what Adana is, what Lahmacun is and this one hurts to say, but you guys even got your rice really wrong. So even if you looked at some photos online of what these dishes are actually supposed to look like, that'd be a great start. Not going to lie, I was embarrassed as a Turkish person when my food came out. I've attached a photo of the lahmacun. Do me a favour and look at that photo, then look up "lahmacun" and look at the difference. Try not to laugh, because that's mean. The Adana "Iskender" - Photo attached. Two little pieces of Adana kebabs on a piece of bread with some sauce drizzled over. Then rice and salad. And the rice is closer to Indian rice than Turkish. But long story short - that's just not Iskender. You don't call that Iskender. Nothing close to it. So yes, really lacking some "Turkish Restaurant" credibility here. (You can tell I'm a passionate about this one cause Iskender is actually my favourite food.) Food is food, I get that. And I'll be honest the food itsself isn't half bad. But calling themselves a "Turkish Restaurant" is an insult. I've seen worse, but this is up there. I get we're in Australia and it won't be the same - but there are places that make some solid Adana for instance that are actually so good. (won't name drop and cause trouble) And I make a much better lahmacun at home with a pan lol. I wish I was joking. I've been wanting to check this place for a year or so, lots of people had recommended it - just wish I stuck to the places I knew. Anyway, funny experience, definitely wouldn't recommend if you're after authentic Turkish food. Great staff though, and great atmosphere. Only writing this cause I think it's worth helping even one person who's reading this save a bit of $ and I just really wish I found a review like this before going. Cheers. Burdaki Chef resmen googledan "how to make lahmacun" yazmış öyle yapmış sanki lahmacunumuzu.

Little Aladdin in Graceville is a gem for anyone craving flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the aromatic blend of spices and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu is packed with delicious options, from hearty kebabs and fresh falafels to vibrant salads and moreish dips like hummus and baba ganoush. I opted for the mixed platter, and every bite was a taste sensation – the meats were tender and perfectly seasoned, while the falafels were crisp on the outside and soft within. The customer service was excellent, with staff who were attentive and eager to offer recommendations. I was impressed by how accommodating they were with dietary preferences as well. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a takeaway, Little Aladdin offers a memorable experience filled with authentic flavors and generous portions. It’s a spot I’ll definitely return to when I need a satisfying, flavorful meal!

This little corner restaurant is well worth the drive! The food is divine, and plenty of it. We started with the Aladdin Platter then had 3 x Shish Istanbul and 1 x Izmir Kofte. The host, Nagash, is very welcoming, friendly, and funny and makes everyone feel like they're the special guest for the night. They even brought out a dessert with a sparkler for my birthday and the waiter & waitress sang in key! It was like being in an episode of MC where I was trying to find out what was in the icecream. Has anyone had ice cream that is smokey in flavour yet you can taste honey??? Amazing. It is not BYO but has an array of wines, beers, and cider. My friends were very happy to see the Turkish beer Efes! We had such a good night and look forward to going back soon.

I had made a reservation for two people at this restaurant and arrived on a Friday night. We were punctual, but upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that we would be seated at a "high" table with stools around it due to the restaurant being busy. I explained that I had booked a regular table in advance. The receptionist insisted that the restaurant was crowded and stated that I'd place my orders at the high table before moving to another one. It wasn't the warmest welcome, but I didn't make a big fuss about it.

We ordered Adana Kebab and Musakka and patiently waited for 50 minutes, only to receive the Musakka. When I informed the waitress who took my order about the missing Adana, she seemed unaware of it. After a brief disappearance, she returned and admitted to having forgotten to place the Adana order, which meant I would have to wait for it. Frustrated by the additional wait, I inquired about the time it would take, as I had already waited for 50 minutes. However, she provided no definitive response, simply repeating that they were busy.

I expressed my dissatisfaction, pointing out that it was her error and inquired if there was anything she could do to rectify it. Her response, as with previous inquiries, was that the restaurant was busy, without making any effort to address my concerns. It was at this point that the person at the reception (possibly the owner) noticed my extended conversation and assured me that the Adana would not take much longer. Ten minutes later, partly burnt Adana was brought to our table, however I didn't want to complain any further, as we were hungry.

I understand that everyone can make mistakes and forget things, but I emphasized that, in the restaurant business, it is important to offer a sincere apology to customers, take the responsibility of your actions without excuses, and take corrective actions. However, no one from the restaurant apologized for the delayed food, and they did not appear eager to make amends for customer satisfaction.

I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone, as neither the owner nor the staff seem to know anything of good...

I had very high hopes for this restaurant but unfortunately had a very poor experience there. My family and I arrived on time and were seated. We ordered our food of a starter and 4 dishes which included a lamb shish and a Iskender dish. It took a long time for the food to arrive but seeing this was a new restaurant it was fine and the waitress apologised. Once the dishes were set down, by a different waitress, my daughter noticed it didn't look like an Iskender. We quired it with the original waitress and she said unapologetically that the other waitress should have told us what it was. We figured maybe this was how they made Iskender at this particular restaurant. Then we noticed the lamb shish was actually 3 lamb chops so not ideally for us to share the dishes as planned. When we arrived home I decided to look at the menu again and sure enough these two dishes were definitely not what we ordered. I called up the restaurant and the original waitress answered and I explained we were actually given another customer's dishes and that we were right about their mix up. After speaking to two separate staff that could not answer my query, I asked to speak to the manager. I was put on hold for awhile only for someone to come back and ask if I was still there and then to tell me the manager had gone home for the night. Whilst this is a new restaurant and mix ups can happen, I would have appreciated that the waitress to have taken our word that the dishes were not what we had ordered and checked it out at the time rather than pass it off. I hope the people that got our food enjoyed it more than...

Mixed feelings. Food was tasty and atmosphere was lovely.

It was quite expensive so we only opted for mains as the entrees seemed particularly expensive but not sure maybe they are designed to be shared?

The service was where we weren't so happy. Staff were friendly but my husband got given chicken Pide instead of beef (which he decided he would just happily eat so was not mentioned, no worries) , my mother's meal was not brought out with the rest of the meal, I flagged with the wait staff who said they would check on it. Quite a while later we were told it will be out in a minute, she was then given the wrong dish which we flagged, a long time later her correct meal was brought out.

I suppose in terms of being constructive I would have expected a bit more communication about the delay at the time and possibly a bit more of an apology about it all. I have worked in multiple hospo jobs and understand the pressures but if there was more communication early in the piece the staff could have clarified which meal needed to be brought out which would have reduced the delay and skipped an additional mistake.

There was also a bit of inconsistency about what could be made gf and what couldn't based on wait staff vs the menu so if coeliac would check specifics. Exactly

Based on food alone I would go again but I'm not sure if any of my family would...
