I recently had the pleasure of trying the Chicken Tikka Bao bun at this amazing restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute flavor explosion! If you're looking for a unique culinary experience that combines the best of Indian and Asian cuisines, this is the place to be. The Chicken Tikka was perfectly grilled, with tender, succulent pieces of chicken that were marinated to perfection. The blend of spices in the marinade gave it a delightful kick without being overwhelmingly spicy. The bao bun itself was soft, fluffy, and just the right amount of chewy to complement the chicken. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and willing to offer recommendations. The ambience of the restaurant was cosy and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends or a date night. Overall, I highly recommend trying the Chicken Tikka Bao bun here. It's a creative, mouthwatering fusion delight that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. I can't wait to return and explore more of the culinary treasures this place offers!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night with a group of 4. We had a booth which was great. $200 all up for so much food and an alcoholic drink each including 2 cocktails. Favourites were definitely the lamb shank, tandoori bao and the kofta korma. We had our meals medium spiced and it was a little spicy for me but I'm not a big spice girl so probably an accurate medium for Aussies. The golgappa shots were also fun and beautiful and delicious! Couldn't fault anything apart from the dirty samosa seemed a bit cold but maybe it was supposed to be like that and didn't really like the tandoori roti (partly because I was expecting it to be like paratha and it wasn't), but that was personal preference and the spinach and cheese naan was delicious. The owner is beautiful and cannot wait to come back to try more on the menu!!

The food was good and the service was excellent. We ordered a fair bit of food, vegetarian & and a non- vegetarian starter and mains, including dessert, at the end. A few of the dishes (Kashmiri Paneer tikka & bang bang cauliflower) were below average, but the rest were good. Chicken & fish tikka masala (both had the same gravy base), Maa Makhani, Amritsari Jinga, and Malai Murg were really good. Both garlic and butter naans were amazing. The mains came a bit late, which was frustrating! We ordered gulab jamun, kulfi & rasmalai in the desert. Gulab jamun & Kulfi presentation & taste was good. However, rasmali was a failure as it tasted like a dried rasgula, which they flattened and put some milky sauce around it, which was not that pleasant.

My husband ordered a takeaway a little while ago. The first and last order from Mezbaan. When we were sitting down to eat, my meal wasn’t packed. I called the restaurant to be told the kitchen definitely packed it, but that they would give me a free one on my next order. After being called a liar, and the rest of the family saying the food wasn’t great, we’re not going to bother ordering again. We spent around $150 on the meal, why would we lie about a $20 eggplant dish? We’re used to the best Indian food you can get, having lived in the UK for decades - judging by the famiy’s reaction to their meal, this definitely isn’t the best Indian food. Don’t call your customers liars, and get your kitchen staff to check takeaways!

Response to restaurant reply - I wasn’t offered a full refund, and wasn’t told the kitchen staff missed my dish while I was on the phone to you....
