November, 2024 This morning, my husband and I stumbled upon this gem while trying to find our way to an appointment. We decided to take a detour on our way home, and I’m so glad we did! The food was incredible, the juices refreshing, and the milkshakes were perfection.
My husband raved about the breakfast burger, claiming it was the freshest and best he’s ever had—although he later joked that my question about it momentarily interrupted his enjoyment! I opted for the avocado toast with poached eggs, and those sweet potato crisps were a revelation—golden, crunchy, and bursting with sweet potato flavour. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and I swear they used a whole avocado on that toast.
The portion sizes were impressively generous for the price. The breakfast burger looked fantastic, with a crunchy hash brown and juicy, perfectly cooked bacon that wasn’t dripping in oil. Each bite was packed with flavour, leaving us rolling our eyes in delight.
The milkshake was thick and satisfying, made with fresh ingredients listed on the menu, and prepared right in front of us—no artificial flavourings here. The juices were sweet but not overpowering, providing the perfect refreshing finish to our meal. It felt like sipping on liquid gold!
If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend it. It was a solid 10/10 experience!
January 2025 On our day off, we decided to stop by for brunch, especially since our last visit had been so exceptional. My husband stuck with his trusty choice, the Brekky Burger, while I opted to try something new. He was, once again, thrilled with his decision and paired his meal with a vanilla milkshake, which complemented it perfectly.
I should mention that we didn't utter a word during our meal—we were too busy devouring everything in sight. By the time we left, we were both completely stuffed, and on the drive home, we couldn’t help but laugh at how bloated I felt from not wanting to put down my fork.
I had the salmon poke bowl, and it did not disappoint. Each bite was an extraordinary blend of flavours, and if you could manage to load a little of everything onto your fork, the taste was even more incredible with every mouthful. I'm so glad we decided to return, and I'm even more certain now that there will be many more...
Read moreI had the Turkish eggs, and it was a delicious meal, I ate the lot. My partner said his hokkien noodle omelette was very good, and honestly it looked massive. The oat pancakes were divine, perfect crust. The kids cheese toastie was made with sourdough bread, and minimal cheese, making it hard, and chewy. Even the adults didn't want to eat it. The juice was fresh and so tasty, 10/10.
The mocha needs a review. An average sized glass, with lots of ice, and a choc-coated vanilla ice-cream on a stick sounds good on paper, but in reality was a bit of a waste. Nobody wanted the ice-cream, the mocha was below average. Coffee & chocolate in a glass , with a scoop of ice cream, cream on top with chocolate dusting will never go wrong; unfortunately, it's not new or edgy, it's just a disappointment and a waste of everyone's money ( the restaurants' and mine).... It was left half full and the ice cream uneaten.
Vanilla milkshake was probably I've of the best I've tasted in years.
Real food here, highly recommend.
On my next visit I'll definitely be ordering the massaman croissant, it looked unbelievably good 👍🏼
Toys for the little ones as well.
Cosy, unpretentious, and quality food and service. Staff were attentive and always moving, this is a...
Read moreDo yourself a favour and order Nana’s Chicken Club Sandwich. Seriously, it’s one of the best club sandwiches I’ve ever had.
When I asked the waitress for recommendations, she rattled off half the brunch menu - clearly torn between too many favourites, like a parent trying to sidestep the dreaded “which child do you love most?” question. For the record, the salmon poke bowl, Da’s steak sandwich, and yellow hash all got honourable mentions alongside the club sandwich.
Prices are fair for what you get: brunch dishes range from $21 to $26, and the kids’ brunch menu is priced between $6 and $12. Trust me, just glancing around at other tables, it’s clear this place doesn’t miss. Every plate was a feast for the eyes - generous portions, beautifully plated, and absolutely mouthwatering.
The café itself feels like a warm hug, with its cozy, quirky, rustic interior. Even the bathroom matched the vibe, fully committed to the theme. My three-year-old was delighted with her babycino, served in a Paw Patrol mug on a Bluey saucer - a thoughtful touch that shows how much care goes into the details here.
Whether you’re here for a casual brunch or just chasing something damn good to eat, this spot delivers....
