I had the kebab mixed meat and salad box last Thursday and I'm afraid I won't be back. From the get go I noticed something drastically wrong with the meat. I eat here quite regularly but came no where near to finishing the box. The meat, which by the way was smothered in the sauce I asked for but had no time to stop the girl from going mad with. Back to the meat. It was definitely off as I gave some to my friend to try and he thought the same.Why did I not go back and complain about this? Because thought I might be imagining things as I have had absolutely no problems before. Till I got home and started feeling very upset in my stomach after about 2 hours. Then at least 3 or 4 times just heaved up huge thick spews of the meat which I had eaten. Could anything else have given me food poisoning? Absolutely not. Pretty sure the water I bought wouldn't have given my normally rock hard stomach this much grief. Very disappointed and will not return. Who smothers the meat with so much sauce either. Read moreThe Origin Kebab at Indooroopilly shopping complex introduced a new 1.5% surcharge suddenly for every purchase which seemed unfair to me. When I asked why this new surcharge is introduced (which is normally seen on weekends and public holidays), the shift manager (a male) clearly was not happy to explain the reason. He said they installed a new eftop machine which is better than the previous instrument but this new eftop company/bank is charging them extra bucks which needs to be payed/compensated by the customers but not by them!!! When asked why he needed to change the machine he replied it is better than the previous one but my question was it was clearly not working better for the customers as eventually the customers ended up paying extra bucks! Finally he rudely said if its not better for any customer, they could go somewhere else to get better service. This man has every behavioral issue to calmly talk to customers and explain the situation. The way he finally asked me to seek better services somewhere else is against the good customer service code of conduct. I strongly detest this rude attitude and suggest future customers to steer away from this food outlet in Indooroopilly...
Read moreThe food was quality and fresh however what concerned me the most was the poor and disconnected customer service from the staff. It was organised chaos. Whilst ordering staff members switched twice without warning or communicating what was going on. Whilst half way thru my order staff member just walks away and does something else and I'm like umm ... What the f. So confusing! Then another person comes over 2 minutes later I give the rest of my order, then before I finish, they walk off again!! Without warning or even looking at me. Start sorting food in the griller and preparing another customers order. It made me anxious and it was stressful enough being so busy there but they really need to have some sort of more organised work flow with one person assigned to taking the orders or at least fulfil the order before U just randomly wander away.
