Pizza Caffe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

This is the best pizza in Brisbane in my opinion. The range of pizza is fantastic with an A-Z offering of delicious pizza. The crust is a thin type crust which is beautifully crisp. The venue offers a nice view over UQ's sport fields to the river, and on weekends you can watch a hockey game or two. The cafe has a good range of craft beer, soft drink and other beverages including nice coffee. The staff are friendly and provide excellent customer service. The pizza caffe is part of UQU's discount program and has a 1pm-3pm happy hour on weekdays which offers reduced prices over a small range of pizzas. All in all this cafe is probably the nicest place to eat at UQ's St Lucia campus. I eat here on a regular basis and look forward to...

$22 for this... Cheese was missing on almost half the pizza and toppings were lacking and not distributed well. I think I counted 10 small peices of lamb... I get they were busy but this is just disappointing especially when all my colleagues pizzas came out relatively well if it was pepperoni.

This is at their new location near bagel boys. Service was good when ordering and picking up.

But! How did it taste over all? It's okay. Nothing to write home about. The tomatoe base sauce was good. Although I found their base a bit dry and hard and the crust wasn't puffy or airy.

Honestly, not really...

Look, I come back because the food is good, but I need to bring down the review score a bit. Every time I've been here (4+ times), they have never had everything my girlfriend and I wanted. They're always running out of ingredients for pizzas and sides before their dinner rush even starts. This is the only restaurant I've been to that has such regular supply issues. Not every pizza is as good as the others, either.

Edit: Waited 40 minutes for a single pizza during peak time. Gotta drop it down to 2 stars. Also, my girlfriend does not think this...
