Bookmark Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

One of the cafe’s male staff is very irresponsible. He mistakenly heard my name “Emma” as “Anna”. Then, he gave my ordered fruit Danish to the other customer who named “Anna”. After this customer realized she didn’t order the danish, she returned the danish back to the counter, and said “this is not what I ordered”.

Staff showed he doesn’t care at all. He gave me the same danish that has taken away by the other customer. He did not offer me the new one, even not asked “if you need to change for the new one”. (Totally understand the other customer took the Danish by accident, because the staff called her name)

The girls work in this cafe are very nice. Maybe I will come back when the girls provide...

Honestly, the best coffee on campus. I kick and scream if I am forced to go for coffee breaks at any other venue. Food options are very limited but the chicken, cheese, and avocado toastie is always a winner for a quick snack or brekkie bite. Lachy and staff have always been kind and efficient. These guys have very, very good coffee. I normally drink a long black but once in a while, I like to have a cappuccino, Often they are weak and too milky but the ones here are still strong even without a double shot.
