Red Rooster used to be a suitable place to obtain take-away food of an acceptable quality. My wife and I were fans of the 'Classic Roast' especially but for reasons known only to your bean counters, that little gem, which contained actual, wholesome vegetables, was removed from your menu and replaced with the horrendous 'sweet potato'. You should realise that people don't eat to a price, they eat to a certain level of quality and nutrition. Put the price up if you have to, but keep the damned roast meal. Today, I was excited to see that you had 'hot fried chicken' on the menu, and Corn wheels. What a disappointment. Why in the name of Satan's Minions would you make a crispy, fried chicken then proceed to pour an incredibly greasy and salty (though suitably 'hot') sauce over it thus making the chicken as soggy as tissue paper? The corn wheels were another huge disappointment. Why would you screw up hot, buttered corn by adding some sort of unholy mixture of SALT and some other liquid resembling butter? You've really blown it, RR. I've been eating your product since the store was named 'Big Rooster' many, many years ago but no more! You've done your dash. Farewell and may you see sense...
Read moreTonight we ordered through the Red Rooster website. Two hours later the food hadn’t arrived. Upon calling the “restaurant” Manager named Falcon, he told us that it wasn’t Red Rooster’s fault because they use Door Dash and we had to call Door Dash to sort it out. This obviously caused some friction amongst those of us craving the dinner we’d longed for. This Falcon bloke told us that they could give us the food or a refund but not both because it was Door Dash’s fault and not theirs. Having ordered through the Red Rooster a website and not Door Dash, this obviously came as quite the shock. It ruffled a few feathers, you could say. Anyways… we’re still sitting here wondering what’s going on with our mystery chicken and wondering if we’ve consumed enough calories to make it to sunrise.
We did deal with one poor young girl who had to put up with our complaining. Having to work under Falcon and put up with us, probably made her question her employment choices. So, if you’re ever in the Camp Hill Red Rooster and find yourself frustrated with the service, it’s probably not the fault of the shop… it’s probably Door Dash. Just call Door Dash.
Ah well… probably time to reach out to...
Read moreDo not order from this Red Rooster store via the Red Rooster app itself. I ordered food to be delivered and the store gave the delivery driver someone elses food order for my delivery order. Do they employ illiterate workers there, because the bag had a females name fully bold on it and I am a man. The driver said he couldn't go back to get my order fixed and I had go follow up and ring the store. I have tried calling the store on numerous occasions and phone cuts out due to message bank full. I rang another Red Roster store and they answered in seconds. I was told to leave my disgruntled situation problem in the feedback online section for the store my food came from and I still haven't heard anything at all and have tried calling back the store again the next day with no luck. The mishap order was not worth what I ordered and feel very ripped off. So angry. Do not get delivery from this store or from the Red Rooster app, unless you want to...
